Went by today and they did not answer the door - next time I walked by LEO was standing nearby out front.
I was out last night having a few beers at 9th and U last night and noticed that Rio's doorbell light was out and the deadbolt was locked. A sign that they were closed. I wasn't thinking of stopping by but I was curious to see if they were open or not. If this had to happen it might as well be now as those of you who haven't been laid off could get the ax anytime and perhaps for the time being time to be prudent with one's money.
I was in the neighborhood having a few beers and saw that the doorbell light was out at RIO and the door was dead bolted.
Made a trip back today. As I was walking up to where I found the location (finally) Leo was going in the door with a bike and just sitting there. I give up. I missed behind in front by 5 minutes. Next flight out to Nevada.
Rio doesn't surprise me but I really doubt Orange is closed already?
They have ads still being posted the latest being 8PM tonight.

I've also been wondering what will happen as the new adminstration comes in. On one hand, I would expect that DC will want to present itself as a wholesome place, with all the world watching. On the other hand, with a Democrat administration coming in, we shouldn't have to deal as much with the hypocrites who claim to want smaller government, only to proceed to try and inject the government into every aspect of our personal lives. I suppose we'll have to see whether there is a "cleanup" for the inauguration, and whether it lasts, or whether they allow things to go back to something resembling the past.

Salomeh is there, and was a great time. I'd only read about her here, but had never met her before. She claimed to know me, so I just ran with it, because it made my life easier. This worked out well.

Gave a call to my local citrus stand to verify that they are still selling delicious fruit, and they answered the phone and said theyll be selling today.
Late report, but went on December 1 to buy some OJ. Was served by Michelle. Sale of the FS fruit was no different than past, so doesn't look like higher rates have affected this place.
The full fruit basket package was purchased. Michelle was a great salesperson, older, probably mid-30s, but very sexy, with some tats on her back that I like. No GFE or BBBJ.

Are you sure about all this CIM stuff? Been mongering in DC for a long while and I never got any of this or wanted on the 1st visit. I'm sure it might have happned but your experience was almost surreal by DC standards, if it all happened then "way to go Dude"!
