It's sad to see this. I haven't been out much lately but was hoping to stop in there yearly in the new year. Looks like I'll have to look for a new spot.

You nailed it. She told me she used to live in LA. First of all Angie, that doesn't impress me at all. But she was probably a Pay4 Play operator out there, and got used to the movie producer-TV director-software developer-internet company IPO dudes, who throw money around for the fun of it. Maybe she got a little shopworn, developed a habit, or had to disappear for a while, so she ends up in Lombard. Unfortunately for her, the only thing in common with LA is the capital L. And she ain't as great as she thinks.

I dropped in a couple of times and had both Angie and Jenny. Both haggle too much and killed the mood. Both asked way too much HJ. 8, cbj1. , cfs1. 60. Have not heard any chatter about Cove spa recently. Anyone have any info (pro or con) about this location.

I never got back there after they reopened. As far as I know the two good looking girls are still there plus an older lady that sounds like you would want to pass on.

I have seen a few posts here about Lucy, aka Yung from Maple was at Cove Spa (Lombard). Has anyone been there and know if she is still there? I know she is a little bit older, but she was my fav- at Maple before she left. It has been years since I have seen her and would like to make her my exclusive massage lady again. Golden Spa in LaGrange isn't worth it, as you said yourself. I had a 4 hand there, and one woman actually stared at the ceiling as she stroked my meat. I think $200 is a lot to experience Buyer's Remorse, as you seem to have. Golden has been removed from my list of places to go.

LaGrange Spa is also a waste of time. It's a very tiny place, and parking is odd because it's a two-story office apartment / condo building. If you don't park directly in front of the spa, you feel (or actually are told), that you're parking in the spaces for another business. Three visits, and the most I got was a "thank you". Oh, and one time I did get asked "Not $20? When I tipped $15. I won't be returning, so you'll now get zero, my dear.

The only place I'll go in LaGrange is Ivy over on Burlington Ave. , by the train tracks. NOT to be confused with Ivy in Lombard. And I only see Cindy at this place. I like the design and look of the place, and Cindy's skills are right in my wheelhouse. The menu will be very limited with anyone there. Cindy and I just get along, and we'd probably get along if we had met in another environment. She, and the place, make an hour enjoyable. And there's a lot of free parking nearby.

YMMV I guess. But I've known Lucy for years at multiple spas. I agree the place is in a bad location, bad parking, tiny interior. And for me it is about an hour away. But like I said earlier, I go because I like her and her wry sense of humor. Bob.

I went to LaGrange once when it first opened. Good massage and that's it. I have heard good things about Cindy but never met her.

Sometimes I wonder about the YMMV situation. Yesterday, when I was with a friend, we were talking and she broke into tears. Inconsolable. Told me how afraid she was every day. Afraid of Americans. Forced to sleep alone in the shop with no lights on. Seven days a week. I admit it brought me to tears also. Pretty funny massage. Two people lying side by side crying, hugging and kissing.

I have mostly Chinese friends. Not sure why. But nearly all of them have told me they are afraid of Americans. Many of the Chinese women that come here and work in AMPs are divorced. Mostly poor English. Unfamiliar with how things work in America. Constant threat of deportation.

So with that as a backdrop, we can sometimes scare our friends unintentionally. I can tell you I truly feel empathy for these women and I believe that they can see this empathy and are drawn to it. As I am drawn to them. Even if you are a casual visitor you can put them at ease and get much further in your session. And if you invest the time nothing is off the table. Bob.

I was only at Lanes once. Had TIA. Horrible service and asked for more tip. I think the other lady there is pushing 70. In my opinion the worst spot to go. As far as I know all the ladies from the old IVY were from out west so maybe they went back there.

Try Cove in Lombard. I have not been there in a while but I always enjoyed it.

Yes I have a thing for Asian women that got me here but true empathy for them once you find out how it all really works. Bobs right again atleast for many of the Chinese girl I have met, comes here two suitcases, no money, poor English, homesick, no massage skill, left a parlor weeks at a time, and divorced I think is big reason they here. I have had them Start crying out of nowhere, I take to store to buy food and amenities cause boss doesn't, they pay and insist they pay. So I have been looking for one good provider. Similar in kind to the women who used to run the Devon Spa. No luck so far. I just wonder how you deal with the situation of the masseuse whose approach to a HJ is that of the piston like / jackhammer approach. I have visited one massage parlor the last three or four months and have seen the same masseuse each time. Trying to establish rapport. I suspect that at this AMP a HJ is all that will ever be offered unlike at the old Devon Spa. And that would be fine if there was at least an attempt to make the HJ a sensual act. At the last visit I tried to instruct her to slow down, and even took things in hand at one point to show her. To no avail. She immediately went back to the jackhammer rhythm. I guess that I must try to find a new place. But I have suffered the same jackhammer approach enough in my own limited experience that I dread to move to a new AMP only to suffer the same treatment. It is an art form that sadly many have not mastered or just want to get it done. I have had a few sensual HJ's and if done right is fantastic.

I had a legit friend at a legit spa a year ago (sadly she moved out of state) and over time we gradually developed our rapport, both emotionally and physically. She loved to kiss. Man! Was she great! Bob I've been to only couple foot massage places and neither had private rooms. How does one identify the foot spas that has private rooms. Didn't think they advertised in the usual sites. I'm looking for good spots to go to in the NW burbs. Thanks.

Try Yu's spa in Palatine (on Dundee, next to the Jewel). And Lux Foot Spa in Glenview, MKE ave just south of Lake st.

Same owner both places. In the course of three years I had three friends, One at Lux and two at Yu's. They lived in the same house together and I Wechatted with them, sometimes at the same time. Even went to the house once. I had to keep track of everybody's schedule so I would not see two at the same time. Very stressful. One day the scheduler screwed up and sent me into the wrong room. Both girls got pissed. Eventually, we all made up. One moved to California, and we stay in touch. She invited me to dinner at her house. The other moved to a shop in St Charles. (shhh!) The third lives in Chinatown now. See her weekly, and chat nightly.

Sadly, I'm no longer welcome at these places. Owner caught me in a very compromised position once. It's a shame because both places are really decent. $29 for a massage. Tip as you like. Same owner both places. In the course of three years I had three friends, One at Lux and two at Yu's. They lived in the same house together and I Wechatted with them, sometimes at the same time. Even went to the house once. I had to keep track of everybody's schedule so I would not see two at the same time. Very stressful. One day the scheduler screwed up and sent me into the wrong room. Both girls got pissed. Eventually, we all made up. One moved to California, and we stay in touch. She invited me to dinner at her house. The other moved to a shop in St Charles. (shhh!) The third lives in Chinatown now. See her weekly, and chat nightly.

I did not notice any rooms with doors. But the body massage, almost guarantees there is at least one private room. In the case of Yu's and Lux, you can simply get an appointment for a foot massage, (which is 40min body and 20min foot) but [U]ask ahead of time[/U] for a single room. I always make appointments so I can get a particular person in a particular room. Another P.S., in the case of Lux and Yu's. The girls share a house nearby and they each get one (different) day off each week. After you establish a rapport, you can see them on their day off. Drive them around on errands, shopping, etc. Then, eventually a hotel becomes part of the day-off activities. You really should not expect extras in the spa itself, well. Probably not. Bob.
