I recently went to the Eldorado; it was one of the last of two strip clubs left for my summer tour. Eldorado is a black strip club, that was pretty much all I knew about the place. I've been to several black clubs already this summer. I hadn't heard anything bad about Eldorado so I was looking forward to this visit.
I got there a little before eleven o'clock and they didn't appear to be very busy. At the door, the bouncer did pat me down, so I'm not sure how that shooting happened last week. I paid a $10 cover charge as I walked into the club. Eldorado is a nice looking place. About the size of The Wagon Wheel, the club has a single large stage against the left wall of the club, with no seating directly next to the stage but there are some large comfy leather chairs and sofas in front of the stage, about four feet away from it. The right side of the club is a bar, which was where most people were sitting. I saw no one sitting at the stage. A bartender approached me almost as soon as I walked in and asked what I wanted to drink. As I took a seat at the bar I ordered. The bartender was a young, short, black girl, pretty but conservatively dressed. There was a second bartender, a tall, older black man with glasses. I interacted with him later and got the impression he was a manager or perhaps even an owner.
From my seat at the bar I swiveled around so I could watch the stage. One girl performs on the stage, stripping nude over the course of three songs. Guys tip by either balling up bills and throwing them at the stage from the bar, or walking up to the stage and laying the bills down at the rail. Or, they don't tip at all which is what I did; the girls come around to everyone after dancing to get tips anyway. I was approached by lots of girls during the night. They'd stand between my legs or straddle my thigh with their back toward me and shake their ass against my crotch. The dancers were fairly decent looking, but not fantastic.
One of the first dancers to approach me was a thin girl, short hair, mid-thirties. Her name was Banana. We chatted. She asked me what brought me to the club and I explained my summer mission. She asked specifically if I had been to Norma Jeans and what I thought of it. Then she asked about the Two o'Clock club and I described my experience there. Then she asked about the Stage Door and I told her about how horrible it was there and she laughed.
My bartender asked if I wanted to get a lap dance from Banana. She explained that it was forty dollars for ten minutes, which I agreed to because I liked Banana, she was fun. Lap dances at Eldorado are in an open room near the stage. There are four small leather sofas in the room, arranged in such a way that they do not face each other so you have just a little bit of privacy. Banana directed me to sit in the middle of the sofa as she removed her bikini top and shoes. As she settled onto my lap the bartender came in with a small kitchen timer, which she set to ten minutes. Banana immediately began dancing.
Banana's dance was really good and she rubbed hard against my crotch; so hard that it actually started to hurt after a while. She encouraged me to squeeze her breasts and smack her ass. I enjoyed her dance a lot. Just as the time was ending the male bartender came over and asked if I wanted to buy a second dance and he also suggested I go for half an hour for $100. I declined. Banana was fun, but I wanted to save my money for other girls. But over all I felt the prices were very reasonable. Ten minutes is two or three songs for $50 (I tipped $10 to Banana). By my calculation that's an average of $16 to $25 per song for a hands-on, topless lap dance. That's a better deal than any club in Baltimore. The half-hour rate is even better.
I returned to my seat at the bar and watched the stage some more. The bartender was very friendly and said, "I have just the girl for you." and she motioned for this other dancer to come over to me. I wasn't interested in her and passed on getting a dance from her. There were two or three young, pretty girls that really appealed to me and I wanted to scope them out more before deciding on any dances. Girls would come around and shake their asses for me. I wasn't sure how to handle this because they'd shake, I'd tip them a few bucks and they'd keep on shaking. After some more time I'd tip more and eventually they'd walk away. From watching other guys, it looked like when a girl is shaking her but against you, you're supposed to just keep tipping.
Eventually one of the girls I had my eye on came over and was shaking in front of me, close to me. To describe it in detail, I was sitting on a stool facing the stage, she was straddling my thigh and also facing toward the stage. She was shaking her ass while I had my hands around her. Eldorado is a good place. I was impressed by the staff. They were a little pushy, but also very friendly. I felt I got a really good price on dances and that appealed to me a lot. My only complaint is that there aren't a lot of really good looking dancers. But as long as there are a few good looking ones, it is worth going back.

Like Slamdoor said, there is a male guy (bartender/manager/owner) who is on you the minute you walk in for drinks and dances. Don't get me wrong most of B-more is that way (I'm not a native and used to other areas), but he a little extra pushy (nice guy, though). Stage Door was one of the last clubs I visited this summer. I almost didn't realize it was a club. There's no sign that says "The Stage Door" because the whole side of the building is painted in dark grey. There is a small 'Open' neon sign next to an plain door and there was a bouncer standing in front of this door. I approached and he asked for my ID. After I showed it he opened the door and I followed him inside as he asked for the $10 cover charge. I should've protested this and turned around, but my only thought was that I had to visit ALL clubs in Baltimore, so I paid the money.
Inside the club, the place was dark as hell. Barely any lights and the walls were all painted black. It also smelled, like mold or something. I could see that all the customers, staff, and dancers were black. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I paid with a $20, the bartender counted my change out to me and then immediately took back one dollar as a tip without saying a word. The only decoration on the stage were these tacky gold plastic dollar-signs that were hanging from the ceiling. The dancers were all fat and ugly. No dancers approached me. I drank half my beer and then left. As far as black clubs, I had a much better experience at Norma Jeans, the dancers there were better looking and friendlier.
This was my first time to the Block and well yesterday (Monday) Lust was the place to be. I met really beautiful spinner named Amanda, I did not like the bartender, I did a dance with amanda for.3 and she got a drink, when we went back to our sits, the bartender took her drink away, she said she was supposed to drink while giving me a lap dance, I mean was she really going to do both, if she would have done that I would have gotten pissed at her, at any rate. It was a decent club for some time. It was never really one of the top clubs down there, but it had some real potential at times. I think it closed down for some time two years ago. I remember going there on three different occasions within a two week period and the damn place was closed. Maybe they changed owners. Anyway, with the expansion of Norma Jeans, all the good looking Black women will end up there or some other random spot on the main drag. There was a woman from the west side who worked there for some time named 'Yumi'. She was a hall of fame type of gal. She had great legs, great ass, and a v that tasted like black berries, no shit. She must have four or five children by now because that v was just too good. Norma jeans is the spot on the block.

So, Stage door is not a club I recommend unless you're looking for the grimey, seedier side of stripclubs.
I am bringing an experienced dancer to Baltimore to check out several clubs for her to work in. Currently she does not like what she has heard or read about the "Block". Her main concern is making money and remaining safe. She has picked out these clubs so far Ritz Cabaret, Scores, Gentlemen's Gold Club and Fantasies.
Any input from a local would be appreciated.

Visited the block on a weekday and most clubs didn't have many patrons.
Flamingo is usually a favorite and had my first drink there. Didn't see my regular favorite and none of the dancers were very aggressive and left without buying any drinks or dances.
Stage Door is closed for 180 days for liquor law violation. This was often the best value on the block. Most of the dancers were overweight with big butts but usually one or two that were satisfactory.
The doorman at the Circus is now the jerk that was previously at Mustang and Mustang II. Why anyone would hire him is beyond me. He is rude and insulting and I will not patronize any club when he is working. At most clubs if you look in and decide not to stay the doorman will thank you for stopping by and ask you to come back later. Not the doorman now at the Circus; he will call you names and insult you.
Ended up at the downstairs Lust and bought drinks for several dancers and they were liberal in the roaming allowed. Autumn and Citizen are two names that come to mind but there were several others. And Lust had the best looking dancers on the block.
Arrived around 1pm. First stop, as always, was the JB: no girls. Then to the Circus: George was the doorman and he's always been nice to me. Nice variety including Angel who I REALLY like.
Next stop RR: reference a previous message, Scott (the big black guy) tends bar Mon and Tues, and is the doorman Wed and Sat. He's a nice guy. Some lovely ladies but the better they look the more the $. If anyone has a inside info on Gabby (young, lovely blonde) please private me.

Hit all the clubs. To make a long story short, there were three decent pieces, one at the Flaming with long dark hair. Thin, classy and well spoken. Nice to talk to, but didn't seem open to any extras, and I didn't press it because I was running out of time. Then there was Star at the RR, nice ass and accommodating, but wanted too much $ and wouldn't negotiate. Finally there was Tami at the club a door or two up from the Circus. Seemed like a real cumslut, hot, wet and ready to go. I was rubbing the man in the boat while she gave me a HJ at the bar. Seemed like she came right there. Unfortunately a little on the heavy side. Got digits for outside the club, but I dunno. Could be a lot of fun, but I just ain't into fat chicks.

Most of my mongering is done on the block, and I am a big fan of the stage door. There are many a gems to be found if you can get past the exterior and interior looks of the place. You just have to be patient with that venue. I actually suggest going in there over the course of a whole weekend, because the girls change by the hour. I have been going there for at least 10 years and have been though the ringer with that place. If you are into Black Girls that is the best place to go for extras and take out. Since it is a tip club or lap dance club, you don't have to worry about buying drinks for the girls and if you do it's only 8 dollars. If you want extras you dont have to pay the bar $.40. The girls are very easy to talk too and are very willing to exchange phone numbers so takeout is easy pickings. I go to the block at least 4 times a month and spend a majority of time at the SD. If you are a frequent visitor that cover can and usually will be waived. I even tip the DJ and get the music I want to hear played. But the block is al about preferences, and knowing what you like.

I'm in town this week, so I took a tour of the block late last night. I ran into a blond from the upstairs Jewel Box. We managed to get together after work. We went to my hotel room. I gave her $ up front to spend the night. My hotel room was poorly supplied, so I went to the front desk to get a "Do Not Disturb" sign, and when I came back she was gone.
Now I know it was stupid of me to give her money up front. With girls I meet, inspite of what they do to earn money, I'm usually very respectful. But it just makes me angry when they turn out to be theiving ******. (I suspect that many of you will say "well, what did you expect?") I'm not the type to go in her club tomorrow and beat her up or anything. But if any of you go into the upstairs JB, let her approach you and do her most seductive thing, and then tell her that she is easily the most attractive women in the club, but you won't buy her any drinks because she stole $ from a friend

Wow, you must be the one with the secret web cam in the room, you know the one that comes with a sniffer too. Either that or you know Amber better than you say. (Unlike some of the guys these girls encounter, I shower every day.) Either that or you're Amber's boyfriend.
As for the money, women do spend the night for $, and sometimes for less. It just depends on what kind of night they've had and how bad they need the money. And Amber told me that she had a bad night. I guess that Amber needed the money bad enough that she stole it.
I admit I made a newbie mistake, but I will learn from my lesson. I was just hoping the folks here would help me teach Amber a lesson

One Man[/QUOTE]I would have been surprised if she stuck around after you left the room. Think about it from her perspective: she had $ and she wasn't going to get any more. Why would she stay? I don't know this particular girl, but high ethics and integrity aren't job requirements at the block. You seem to have a good attitude about the whole loss and it doesn't seem that the loss of $ really matters to you. Just keep the good attitude and don't make the same mistake again. There are plenty of other ways that we can be ripped off.
I'm such a devoted fan of Stage Door, and now its closed till probably March.

back in town, decided to check the block.
i think the name of the club that was closed today is plaza for **** drinking as they told me. looked for my friend at lust but she wasn't there, spent most of my time at the pussy cats (they had the best girls in the block today), met two really nice ladies, little al also got lots of attention, but he did not get lucky. then went to jewels and i was quoted $$$$ with no time limit, you guys can probably guess my answer. as i was leaving the clubs to papsco, melany flag me down asking if she could use my cell phone, it was in the middle of the street so i asked her to jump in and she did. melany is around 40 but still in great shape, said she worked at the plaza but because it was closed she did not make any money. i told her what i wanted she almost wanted to get down, but her friend was not picking up, so she said "ok.3 but we need to get cover", said no problem, i had my monger pack with me. quick cbj, cow girl and then doggy to the finish. melany did not look bad at all, really nice ass, clean, i wanted to take some pics but she said no. her place was on my way home, so it was a win win for me, now i feel bad for the.3, but maybe she was a sw like ashley.

ps. went to patapsco so very few people, saw 3 or 4 clubs while cruising, have any of you guys went inside this clubs and got lucky. if i were a sw i would probably go there for business, unless i did not like the crowd.
Well I decided to wander around a bit Friday night and made my first stop in at the Crazy Russian.
As previously reported by others, its a bikini / pastie club. Mostly average looking Western European looking girls, there was even one who looked to be in her late 30's early 40's.
Lots of loud drunken blue collar boys having a good time. Drinks were reasonably priced, and bartender was fast and friendly. The girls pretty much ignored me, as I looked very out of place. I was way over dressed for that crowd. Parking was less than adequate, had I known I would have driven a beater rather than my nice vehicle. Drank a Heineken, tipped the bartender and bounced on down the road.
Next stop, Excape in White Marsh.
I had been there before several years ago with a couple friends. Did not seem to change much. Music was nice, girls were all very attractive. Had two extremely good looking black girls (I am biased in that I prefer them so YMMV). Hands off rule was not enforced, and it seems some take out could be had once you have been there a few times. It is so close to where I live I will definitely go back.

I stopped in at this place on Friday evening even though I had heard bad things. Mostly because I want to say that I've been to every stripclub in the Baltimore area. Maybe I was just in there at the wrong time, but this place was terrible in my opinion. The strippers stopped dancing to talk with each other way too long and they were more intersted in goofing off then entertaining. I personally will avoid this place. I was going to stop in another place I heard of but never been called Bustos, but it looked like it had shut down. Not really sure. Just avoud this place though.
I had a brief visit to the MouseTrap II yesterday.
It was an unusual daytime visit for me; but the fact the entire time I was there I was the only guy in the place seemed excessively odd.
The girls complained they felt like the owner was trying to discourage customers and taking the lack of business out on them. They may be right about managment being messed up. Most the places on the Block I visit I buy my first soda, and thereafter as long as I'm buying dancers drinks, my soda gets refilled free. Here I was charged $7 for each one, and the dancers drinks were $25 not the usual $20.
I did do a quick tour around, poking my head in each door a scanning the ladies waiting by the bar, and saw nothing terribly enticing, but then I stopped in because I was nearby, not because I planned to visit, so it just might be I wasn't in the right mood.

I know the economy is getting a few of you to stay home more and more, but it looks bad out there. I am one of the few to hit the Block up on a regular basis. I know because people know my name, even at clubs I don't frequent. These girls are sitting by themselves. Many aren't making their quota for drinks. Now, I am not asking for any of you to go into hock to play with some ass down at the Block, but the girls need a couple bucks. They are charging a little less because they need each guy to count a little more. More are offering take out. There are some really nasty looking girls there, but I haven't found but one or two SWs that were worth a throat poke yet. I am sure many of you could boost up your standards.

The few pretty girls still make decent money. If more good looking girls become blockettes, the customers will follow and they will start spending. I'll be there with plenty of cash.
