For some reason, I was thinking today that this summer will be 25 years since I lost my virginity. Since you're new, it's going to be hard for anyone here to trust you. I suggest you try the back pages of the LA Weekly. There are a couple of places in your area you can try. The door fee should be between $30-$50 and the tip will be the same range for a HJ.

Went to a place on Saticoy I saw advertised in LA Express Sunday night at 8:30. Place was hard to spot cuz to signage whatsoever. Door was opened and a Hispanic man came and showed me to a room. I am a first time poster and only been reading for about a month. I thought it was time I share.

Rant starts here: Usually have a great time at this place. Went today and my usual Latina was not in. Asked Mama (who is very nice, if it matters to any of you) if any Latinas were working. Gave the mamasan a hug ("good to see you again". Yeah right! And.50 then went on back.
More good signs. Rooms have doors with locks, no signs of surveillance in the rooms, etc.
"Pepsi" (not her real name LOL) came in for the massage wearing a club dress (also a good sign! And proceeded to go through the motions with a half-assed back rub (actually a good sign too. Also I hope you report if you find a place in operation that was actually in Panorama City in a two story office building on Parthenia just west of VNB. I'd read several good reports about this place-even getting a couple of highly-recommended name to go with it. But the reality was a bit different.
Hidden behind a Walgreen's in a min-strip mall the place is on display a bit, and while address to Sherman Way, the front actually faces Van Nuys Blvd. Looking professional with the words "acupuncture" and a Dr. 's name posted proudly, this scruffy little storefront has a lot going for it, and a bit of TLC could only improve things. Dealing with he standard MammaSan in the window routine I noticed the tiny, nearly claustrophobic lobby to be decorated with a clapboarded stack of "Where Is Your Pain? " forms complete with full-figure illustrations. I decided to play it careful, buying only a half hour and asking for "Lucy", who was by all accounts supposed to be something special. I conversed in such a way that I'd hoped to make the session as no-hassle as possible-but I was wrong.
"Lucy" came in (eventually) wearing a pretty white off the shoulder sundress and bare legs and feet-always a good sign. She was described as "older" (true) but was also implied to be more attractive than she appeared (to me, at least, however other-and most important bit of info. That would have helped was her lack of any conversational English. The "massage" she offered was lacking in either therapeutic or erotic qualities, and the simplest commented chat I attempted to make with her was immediately lost in translation.
On the flip, however, things picked up she soon sat at my side, positioning herself in such a way that it was impossible for my hands not to come in contact with her naked legs, her back and even a bit of rock-hard frontal add-ons, and it was also about this time she was verbally (for her at least) open to "suggestion" and to how to finish the session. This unfortunately is where all talks broke down as she either couldn't (or more likely didn't want to) understand anything I had to say-even pulling her hands away from any of my naughty bits. The one thing I hate as a first-time with any provider is the negotiation, and the only thing that makes it worse is that stupid "pigeon English innocent act", that only ups the pressure. This went back and forth a few times, and while she continued to hint for more, the harder I tried the more "unknowing" she acted. I finally gave up and decided to end the debate by using 2 words of universal language-"no money" which miraculously she understood! What are the odds of that?
Soon Lucy left the room, returning as I got dressed, and to smooth any hard feelings over, I still offered her $20 for her time, though she now acted as though I were a leper, pointing to the table and asking me (in suddenly understandable English) to "leave it there", which I did. On leave the room together, my "therapist" walked off to God-knows-where, and I had to find my way out (complete with figuring out the loose lock on the lobby door) and without so much as a goodbye.
In all fairness I was an unfamiliar face, but this kind of approach would not make me want to return anytime soon, especially when I can get the same service (and more) closer to home-and without needed a arbitrator or interpreter.

Yeah I know-with all the poor reviews posted online about this place, a mistake to visit, but since I rarely if ever get to this part of town, and because it was right across the street and had tip money left, I figured I'd at least check the place out for myself.
Note to self and others: NEVER trust a massage parlor in the very same damn shopping center with a police station!
The only way to describe them is with two words: "wallet vacuum". Though sparsely furnished, the place itself seemed very clean and very well lit, with two ladies working one Asian, one Latina. Good news-both young-ish (25-30, bit spoke fluent English (not even an accent of the Latina) and both very cute-my interest drawn quickly to the Latina. The bad news is both wore multi-layered outfits, and both were into the hard sell-to the point of carnival barkers. My thought was to test the water again with a single lady and half hour, but $130 dollars later I had been high-pressured into a two-girl hour, but at least I got the "free" table shower out of the deal. I thought I'd gotten a bit of revenge when I was VERY clear in explaining that if I go this route, there would be almost no tip left for the ladies, and was assured "tip is small"-yeah, right! LOL!
Once in the room and on the table, the ladies came in and were both very friendly and very professional, Asian working on my back and Latina my legs. Nice enough (Asian was the far better "therapist" of the two, but unspectacular-the place's name quickly becoming also advertising in my mind. They never switched roles, and at times chatted a bit of business between, but it least it was in English. Latina left the room on 4 separate occasions-twice to get the hot towels, fine, but twice to deal with business up front. With the phone ringing, customers showing up and being put off until later, it was probably no the best business practice to sell a two-girl session if it involves pulling the entire day's working staff off the floor-let alone my session should have been sold to me a "1 1/2 girl massage".
Now here's the part that pissed me off. Just before the flip Asian started hitting me up to tip NOW, even bringing my pants over to me! Now I've learned how to play the game by keeping only enough cash in my wallet for "show" and stashing the extra elsewhere for emergency. I pulled out my "last" $40 figuring $20 and not asking for any favors, when I was grilled by Asian if I had anymore-even asking me "you have a credit card"-yeah lady-you want my ATM pin number too? I showed her my now "empty" wallet, and was told to lie down on my back. Of course, there was no fun to be instigated by either of them at this point, and after a few minutes of working my front, they pitched their "table shower", and I even opted for a regular one to get the heavy oil applied and get the hell out. But Asian was polite and I was soon wearing a towel and oversized rubber thongs making my way down the hallway to the shower room. Everything played out quite innocently as Latina did the job-never being in the room with me the same time I was naked (yes, I was washed while wearing a hand cloth. The shower was nice, but I was in no mood to enjoy it, and after the water was turned off Latina handed me a fresh towel to dry with, and I was told to cover myself and that she would meet me back at the room.
It was only after I got back that it occurred to me Asian just MIGHT have gone through my pants pockets on a treasure hunt, but fortunately this was not the case. Latina returned just long enough to tell me to dress and that she would "let me out"-the 3 nicest words I'd heard the last hour.
The experience was disappointing since both ladies looked nice and although their offerings would have been limited and over-priced, I might have offered more cash if the attitude and business practice hadn't sucked. So the outcome was that I basically paid $170 for not much more than I might have gotten much cheaper and without the financial shakedown.
