You just hope that when the ad comes on particularly strong in describing their staff as this one does, that they will at least approximate the described demographic of being on the younger side with decent enough looks, and that they'll send you home happy. But looks like this one is just another Pasadena con job like most of them. Legit as often than not and employing the mothers of the girls in the pics.

I may have brought this up in the guide thread. I need to double check, perhaps I didn't. Sunflower is owned and operated by the same gal who owns Pasadena Day Spa on South Fair Oaks. That little gem that El Bango found. Prior to Sunflower opening a few years back there were 3 decent providers for HE, and 2 REALLY GOOD ones. One in particular. When Sunflower opened three of them went there. I followed my main provider there because she closed her book of business to people who didn't already know her for a period of time.

While there some dumbass monger got pissed because he wasn't getting an HE. So he made them call the owner and demanded to get one, telling her everyone knows this place provides HE. Well, the owner had no clue the girls who were providing so she called them all out and made them rat each other out. Some other political BS happened as well. My provider got pissed and left, so did the other two at Sunflower, pretty much leaving it legit. Fast forward, I had lost touch with said provider, and went to Pasadena Day Spa and asked for a lady who had given me an HE in the past. She teased...and that was it. I looked at her like WTF and she ignored me. I had received MULTIPLE HE's from that same provider and it was no longer a go.

As far as I know, unless someone tells me different, both Sunflower and Pasadena Day Spa are totally legit.

Thanks for the update on Fair Oaks and Sunflower. I haven't gone to either in well over a year, but, was tempted to visit them again... Glad I didn't.

FWIW, in regards to my review on that 'new' place I found off the 210 a few blocks before Vons... Well, it's confirmed, quite a few providers from Fair Oaks now work at this joint. All of them giving excelent HE's and allow for lots of hand roaming and clothing removal. One of them being Linda... She's got one hell of a nice body, shaved kitty, flat stomach, and a navel ring... If you're in to all that stuff of course... Well... I am :) She'll always give a good HE, but, it can be a challenge to get her clothes off...(takes a few visits for her to get comfortable with you) but, it is definitely worth it once it happens.

I normally don't post, I'm a lurker befitting from all the posts and threads I follow, but I feel compelled to step out of the shadows and share my recent experience at the chicken spot on Lake.

After following the recent thread about Sunflower I decided to check it out. At about 8:30 this evening I stopped by and was greeted by a young and tall Chinese gal who opened the door for me and let me in. She asked if I wanted a massage? Of course I said and asked who was working. Six girls were working and I asked if she would be giving me my massage; no she is the manager (didn't get her name but she carried around this little brown poodle). They were busy so I had to wait for the room and provider. While waiting I made a little small talk with the mama son; Sunflower was sold to her and a partner. She said the old owner didn't care about the shop and it was dirty when she took over, she replaced the table shower and all the old staff. So there is no longer any connection to Fair Oaks.

This explains the current aggressive ad campaign. The providers I saw are not the girls in the pictures (dah). They are "attractive" if somewhat older.

I was introduced to "L_cy" and led to the room where I was told to undress and cover with a sheet. She is probably in her 40's with an out going personality. I undressed and put on the robe that was hanging on the wall (it was damp) when she returned and helped me out of the robe and on to the table where she covered me with the sheet. She asked If I wanted hard or soft to which I replied hard and soft, that she was the expert and could choose, she liked that. We seemed to hit it off with some playful banter while the massage progressed. Her massage was medium at best and at times sensual. I had all the indications of an enjoyable session. There was much ass play and the boys were not left behind. At the flip I was of course ready and waiting. But this was my first time with her and I was going with the flow to see where things would lead. Prior to flipping I had sent the usual signals and after the flip I upped my game a little without being too aggressive; a little otc and some utc touching which she was very receptive to.

Then it was time for the table shower. I'm not a fan of table showers but I'm going with the flow. She helps me up and with the robe, no pretense I'm erect and happy to be seen. We go to the shower room where I'm thinking things are going to get interesting. They have a new table shower but I think I preferred the old one better. The table shower is a hard acrylic fixture without any cushion. So She disrobes me and directs me to lie face down which is a little difficult given my current state of arousal but I'm able to adjust. After a few minutes on my stomach She has me flip and I'm thinking this is it but then she puts some soap in my hand and tells me to clean myself (WTF! After the shower she helps dry me off, helps me back into the robe and back to the room we go.

Back in the room she starts to help me dress and I'm like WHOA wait a minute, there's still 10 minutes of my hour left. She says there's another customer waiting and I'm saying too bad. But she's saying she will make it up to me next time with 20 minutes extra (yah right). This is all happening at 10 to closing and I've heard about this kind of shit so it looks like I'm going to take one for the team and I suck it up.

Normally for a legit one hour massage I'd tip .2 but she's shorting me on my time and there's some other after hours monger who's more important than me. I've got .1 change coming from the house fee and she's just now handing it to me which I give right back to her and say; this is for you, thank you! Her expression was almost priceless. Then, you guessed it she's asking for more tip. Now it's my turn; more time, more tip, I'll get you extra next time.

In the lobby I see the other monger who I lost my time to and we make eye contact. He's a younger guy and wants to know if I'm leaving "happy" and I had to let him know I wasn't. He almost left with me. Total damage .5 house fee plus .1 tip and an ego adjustment.

Hope you keep contributing. Sounds like you approach the process very much as I do. But damn, the table shower should be the 1st act and not the last, or the 1st and the last. Really helps get you relaxed and horny that is if you're not asked to wash your own junk. If you do, it lets you know you've got an uphill battle from the start. Plus the supreme clean sets you up for more adventurous service from masseuses working more adventurous venues.

Thanks to all for a great series of informative posts documenting the phenomenon of a high profile ROB MP. It's a little odd that the strip club mongers (I'm also a member of that club) make a major fuss when a stripper doesn't deliver what she promises. But we've become so jaded by these deceptive MP ads that I guess we just accept confronting false representations in MP ads as a requirement of navigating the MP landscape. Still I have never understood why the practice is so widespread. Seeing how easily they get away with it helps to explain why they're willing to risk operating outright scams not from the wagon of a traveling medicine show but out of a brick and mortar venue. I would think that some percentage of disappointed customers might cause them more drama than they care to deal with inside a public store. And again, I'm not talking about pics which every vet realizes are fake. Talking about the text of the ads which represent young comely lasses who will fulfill your every fantasy and desire, etc.

Personally I haven't got time or money to TOFTT very often. If I'm sampling new places they are 95% of the time going to be spots that I already have positive intel about. Sampling blind would actually be fun in some cases and there was a time that I did that more frequently. But not much leisure time and a limited budget for this hobby have me following the treasure maps to known riches.

BTW, if they really do have 6 girls working at Sunflower at the same time that would be a huge clue that its going to be legit most of the time (there are usually outlaws even in legit spots). Most localities have ordinances limiting MPs to having just a handful of girls working on any shift and I have not seen a number as high as 6 being legal anywhere for a long time. Regardless, a place that active and advertising so frequently is going to be in the cross hairs of LE radar in any community much less conservative Pasadena.

I have yet to experience the truest most typical Pasadena treatment. That is being teased with no HE service. I think I've had 3 MP sessions in 15 years where I didn't receive HE, but I wasn't teased either. Just straightforward legit massage all the way through.

I say use names at legit places or names of people who most mongers won't do well with. I knew the owner of Pasadena Day Spa, and formerly Sunflower. Not sure who owns it now, like you said. Now, there are at least four places on Colorado Blvd. Alone between Rosemead and Hill that offer something more. I have been very busy visiting a lot of places in Pasadena and Eagle Rock. I will try to summarize some key points here from my last 2-3 weeks of inspections.

First off, I figured out the mystery behind the massage place across from CVS that is mentioned earlier in the forum. Soneone mentioned it is in Eagle Rock. The place is not in Eagle Rock. It's the one on Fig. In HP.

I stopped by there (6021 Fig) last week and was pretty disappointed when I walked in and saw a heavy set lady behind the counter. I asked if she had anyone else working today. Sure enough, Coco comes out, who is very bubbly, cute and energetic. I was in luck. She is very cute, in shape and friendly. Great 1 hr with Coco. Tanned trim waste with be cups. Tipped .5 for HJ.

Sometimes I go to a legit place to get warmed up, and than on to a second place for a good finish. If you are into that, Lucy at Sunflower (Lake) in Pasadena gives one of the best legit teases there is. She spends about 45 minutes on your ass and balls and will drive you crazy, but won't finish of course since Sunflower has gone backwards with the new owner. Saw Lucy last week. Tipped Lucy .30 because it was such a good tease. Not the cutest girl there, but has the best hands by far. Also tried Yuki last week at Sunflower...no good. Cute girl but has no massage skill. She massaged me with one hand for most of the hour and could tell her mind was some place else. She needs to study with Lucy!

Other Legit places for the record are Sunny Day (Walnut). Went here last week. Yes, I have been staying busy! Some people may have had luck here occasionally but aren't telling us. Anna is very good and gave a great legit massage. Cute young girl. Rubs up against your body a lot, and will do the breasts in your face while massaging your chest leaning into your head. Tipped .30 for 1 hour and a half. They always ask if you want more time.

Tried the place on Foothill west of San Gabriel blvd. Got a new girl named Amy. Very short, flat chested, but great personality. She greeted me originally and than switched me to a shy older provider who didn't speak English. I told Amy no good, so she volunteered to do the massage. She gives a great massage, but not much tease and it is legit. I didn't push it since I was just warming up for something later. I think more is available here.

7-11. Got there around 9:45 pm. I had seen Wendy (works Tues. And Fri) a couple weeks before that and was hoping she would be available. She was. She is average looking 40 ish. Gives a great massage. First time I did an hour. This time she said busy, so we did 30 minutes. She is very verbal which I like and always asks me if I like what she is doing which I do. She got me pretty worked up before the flip with her inner thigh / ball tease. I flipped and lifted up her shirt. She really gets into it which is good with her moaning during HJ and nipple touching. She said her name was Nica, but I think she meant Nicole. She is taller and slightly thicker. She just had a bad vibe like she didn't want to be there. Told me she loves horror flicks. Since her massage and HJ skills were lacking I only tipped .30 for the hour and she was pissed. Didn't even bother trying to explain to her that her skills and attitude are lacking. It was one of those massages that one minute into it, I realized I probably just wasted 50-100 but saved all you Mongers thousands! She told me never come back here. Wow. I definitely wasn't going to go back to HER anyway, but maybe I will skip this place altogether.

Still summarizing the last couple weeks. Tried the famous place on Altadena. Disappointed actually. Was hoping for a cuter younger provider. Got a lady who was close to 50 and dressed very plain in jeans. Since I didn't have time before work to go to another place, I stayed but didn't even pursue anything beyond the legit massage. Just wasn't turned on by her at all. Tipped .20 for the hour. She seemed happy.

Also tried 243 Rosemead last week. I was surprised how many of the places on Rosemead in Pasadena close early. By 9 pm, every place was closed except 243. Got a 40 ish average looking lady named Mimi. Wasn't sure if I would get anything here, because I hadn't been here in a long time and it was definitely legit before. Sure enough though, with 10 minutes of the hour to go, Mimi asked if she can help me relax. I couldn't turn her down. Pretty good HJ. Didn't bother with breast play or anything. Don't usually try anything unless the provider is somewhat cute. Tipped .4 for hour. I think this place is on it's last legs. Too much competition in the area and the providers are management are behind the times. I think they used to have cute providers back a couple a years ago if I remember correctly. There are some places that do stay open past 10...Gentle on Lake, 7-11, Colorado place across from Staples near Rosemead for sure. For Legit late places I was surprised that Sunny day does stay open late, and of course Sun Flower.

I won't go to there places even though the girls are sometimes hot. Plus they always over advertise and under deliver.

Went to Sunstone last week in ER. Saw Annie. She is ok. 30 minutes. Tipped .40. They have a second location across from Rose Garden Now also. Annie works there also.

The good news: Pasadena is definitely loosening up. Still haven't tried Nikki Spa on Colorado. Walked in but didn't like the girl. At least we have a few places that are starting to offer some extras. I think things will get better! Good luck out there.

Probably have posted a few rants about this over a few years. These were favored spots for me for awhile because the girls are generally hot and there were a few now and then who had massage skills. But the overreaching upselling, bad management and insistence by the hot girls to limit to 30 minutes when the place advertises reasonable hourly prices and you had an appointment for an hour eventually pushed me to the point of no return. So girls were usually younger and nice looking and all in for all extras but service generally poor all around and overpriced. There were some exceptions, a few girls who were very winning selections who could really engage with a customer. But too much bullshit to wade through to find the few good ones.

I am very interested in finding out more about the new place across the street from RG. Haven't eyeballed it yet but have seen the BP ads. I was thinking too good to be true because they are advertising what would be the one and only table shower in ER. I'm not accustomed to ER establishments trying so hard or making this kind of investment so I assumed it is probably legit. I will probably TOFTT in the not too distant future but do you know anything more about this place Faren?

And BTW, Sunstone was my first stop in ER years ago. It was all reasonably attractive MILFs all good for HE but the 2 or 3 I tried out gave awful almost dangerous massages because they were hard but uneducated touch.
