As for the Anna joke, I think that was in poor taste. If she was going in to rehap it would have been funny but the poor girl is dead, leaving behind a baby girl. Admittedly and unabashedly in poor taste, but let's not kid ourselves. You, I and many others on this board frequently patronize single moms in a downward spiral of self destruction, drug abuse and self-degradation. Rarely do people recognize their plight or shed tears for them, and in fact we pretty much enable that cycle as part of our hobby.

It's a pity she left an infant baby behind (who now has 3 people claiming potential paternity) but let's not canonize her as a saint. If it weren't for her media exposure she would have been another former stripper coke addict hooker by the time she was in her mid-30s, and you can bet your ass it's only a matter of time til the sex video surfaces.

Only in this celebrity-worshiping country could be elevate her status to such a degree, and if we're going to be honest about it, her ongoing notoriety was largely a product of being such a train wreck. Undoubtedly she suffered given the tragic death of her son, but over the past few years her notoriety was based pretty much entirely on the public's fascination with watching her self-destruct. Anyone in this hobby has seen worse, but nobody eulogizes since it's not on Extra or ET. She was notoriously fond of putting herself in front of the paparazzi and enjoying it, so don't go blaming the media for hounding her - she sought that out to perpetuate her place in the spotlight.

She was beautiful, she was young, and her life was snuffed out too soon. She was, in fact, my age and it's made me think a lot about my own mortality. It's very saddening. But she did it to herself in large part and she's about one of a million women doing the same to themselves as we speak. Their moms just don't get a shot at Larry King. And the fact is that I didn't make that pic up, that was just normal operating procedure for the girl.

I've been partaking of the action near Ontario Street for years and have snared my winter prey based on the waddle factor. Namely, side-to-side waddle = too fat.
