I learned this after finding a crack pipe in a secluded location weeks after I had last done a pickup. The really bad part is that I had strolled between my last pickup & finding the pipe. Imagine the trouble I would have been in had I been stopped during that stroll. Now, I always do a deep search of my car within minutes of a drop-off.

This is nothing new. It's just a reminder that you can't always just do a cursory search.

Also, I continue to see people doing obvious pickups.
