I pretty rarely go to a SC nowadays, but since all the hot asian chicks vanished from Pink Pony, I've been searching for a new club.
Now, I've been to 24K every now and again, and was never impressed... now they have some very fine ebony chicks.
(Note by "very fine" I mean long, lean and pretty... I'm not into the "thick booty girls", but lord knows there are plenty of places in the ATL to find those)
Particular stand outs are Cinnamon and Jamaica. Cinnamon is just flat-out gorgeous, Jamaica has pretty much a perfect body and is liberal with the extras. There are plenty more to choose from though.
There are white girls there, but they're all worn out old redneck strippers, the 24K Olde Guarde I suppose... the hotties are the black girls.
The club itself is a dump, but the VIP rooms are very private and the condom machine in the bathroom (LOL) hints at the liberal nature of the VIP rooms.

I hate to sound obtuse, but usually it's just obvious to me whether extras are available or not.
I first sit with the dancer on the floor, assess how permissive they are just having them dance a few songs and go from there.
A good approach with a dancer who already seems pretty open would be to just say "so, what's VIP like" and go from there... usually they will say "what do you want to do" and negotiations start, and girls who won't be offering extras in VIP are usually pretty up-front about it because they want to avoid the hassle.
I always use the Vegas method of funding a strip-club excursion... carry only cash in the amount you are willing to lose. A good stripper can milk you of serious cash if you get carried away and have some ATM or credit cards handy ;)

Well, I went and visited the 21k club today. Was immediately abducted by a girl upon entering. She said her name was Cheri or something like that.
They have multiple VIP rooms ranging in price from 75 bucks completely private to the option I took which was 30 bucks and in the basement.
Got some nice dances and walked out of there $.60 lighter.

There's two VIPs up on the raised area, across and to the right of the bar, towards the entrance to their changing area and one down behind the bar to the right, but i can't say i've ever heard mention of the basement.
But yeah, there are some fine looking mocha honeys in there now with some amazingly tight bodies.
Getting to the basement is simple. Tell the girl you want to go there and drop .3 to the bartender for the house fee.
I don't mean this question to be critical at all...I'm just curious. I went to strip clubs in the past and had some good times, but once I figured out that I could go to escorts/providers instead, I decided my money would be better spent on getting a BJ or some real sex rather than paying women to dance for me.
But maybe some of you are more concerned about health risks of "full contact" or others just enjoy the dancing part of it and then sometimes have no problem paying a lot for extras in the VIP room? Maybe you like seeing a lot of women and then picking the one you want to pursue for some VIP room action? If I won the lottery and money was not an issue, I'd probably go to strip clubs occasionally, but I still think I'd spend more money on actual providers.

I'm not aware of a basement myself... The club is in a mini-strip mall, how could there be a basement (those are all built on slabs)?
I think the previous reviewer probably means the lower VIP area off the couch area.

Well, variety is a good thing, first of all.
Secondly, I MUST have a girl with a really fabulous, model-type body and perfect skin, and the truth is the most attractive strippers are FAR more attractive than the vast majority of escorts.
Also, you can see every nook and cranny of a stripper before you spend one cent on them - that is, you can shop before you buy, something that's hard to do trolling the escort sites. Better yet, you choose from a bunch of girls at once, and you can even assess their personality by chatting before you've invested too much in them.
That's my reasoning anyway.
If you just need a hole to fuck NOW, then obviously an escort is the way to go. A stripper friend can be fun though... and for me, 99% of the "escorts" out there are too old, too stretch-marked or too fat. Me, I still like some of the gorgeous stripper chicks out there ;)

As my experience, and nerve, build up I do plan on trying the street walker scene, or the CL path.
When I went into the club there was a bar almost immediately ahead and slightly left. To the right and elevated was one VIP area. I was told there was a private 75 buck VIP area, but didn't see it. The door for basement VIP area was at the back right corner of the stage.

I think he might mean platinum 21, as he said "21k", instead of "24k". I remember a v.i.p area in the basement, and there used to be a bar and stage once they were talking about a hot tub, but I don't remember ever seeing one.
