I sort of misread that post about Cafe Lu's. I didn't see how it said you hadn't been inside. So let me just add a few things...mainly Asians are in there, although everyone is welcome. Cafe Lu's is really dirty too, but I like that. When I say dirty I mean in the dive bar sort of way. There are definitely cleaner cafes. Once I went in with a friend of mine and all the tables were occupied except one where some people had just left. The table still had dirty glasses on it and spilled drink on top. We sat down and the waitress took the dirty glasses, but didn't clean the table. She came back with our water and napkins and we ended up cleaning the table ourselves haha.

Do not use the fake Viagra or Cialis. The fake ones can make you really sick. You will have stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomitting.

Agree, been a few times and like a Hooters almost but exclusively Vietnamese.

Since the subject is opened I used to go, many years ago, to some of the Korean hostess bars in GG and LA. They were lots of fun for drinking and a little touchy feelie. I was always pretty lucky to get phone numbers to meet with them outside. The bar bills could get pretty hefty, but the outside meets were always free (hoping you'd come back to the bar).

Nothing bad about it was reported. Just had some interviews with the girls and some guests and the owner of the cafe. The cafe was called Vi Vam or something like that in Garden Grove. Hot looking waitresses!! Channel 11.

I checked out this place about a year ago. The girls are hot as hell, but not very friendly. I did see them flirting with what looked to be regulars. So I guess if you go a lot you they will open up.

It seems like a great place to hang with the fellas and check out ultra hot viet chicks on a warm summer night. This would be a cool place to watch a Lakers game.

Samurai[/QUOTE]Was it called Di Vang? Or Di Vang 2? This one is off of Euclid in Garden Grove. Some pretty hot waitresses there. A few Vietnamese, 1 Filipina, 1 Latina.

Pretty cool spot to watch Lakers Games at, but you can't really hear the game, they have music playing instead. No alcohol Either. But awesome Strawberry Lemonades.

Korean ones are more expensive than Chinese ones but the girls at the Korean clubs are much hotter.

Hahaha... I saw that report on Good Day LA two days ago and when the reporter asked if there was any funny business going on, I almost spit out my coffee.

We know the price for V gals at United are alot higher than anywhere else I wouldn't be surprised if this was any different especially since these gals are hot. Ha ha.

Gonna hit up Cafe Lu soon. My friends ex-gf owned that place at one time. Dunno if there is a new owner or not.

I don't imagine there being that kind of funny business going on there either. Most of those girls are like any girl any where...just looking for a sugar daddy. Although I do imagine those places being some kind of front for money laundering. Once you've been to one Viet Cafe you will start to notice them all over the place. Cafe Lu on Harbor/McFadden, Cafe Temptation on Harbor/1st right in the shopping center by the 7-11. It's the building with all the darkened windows. Then on Harbor / Westminster by the McDonald's is Cafe Cutie.

Fun Topic.

I have been going to coffee shops for about 2-3 years now. Great place to hang out and great place to catch a game at. I'm pretty much what you consider a "regular".

The Coffee Shops are all legit, I never heard of any funny business what so ever. The only things that are illegal in there are the smoking in doors and the occasional gambling (some of the more ghetto places).

I got the chance to know a few of the girls there pretty well, they are mostly all normal (although a bit ditsy). From what I hear they make about 14 up to even 20 dollars per hour on top of tip~ It shouldn't be really of a surprise that they have a better car than most of us on these boards lol.

I hear a lot of stories from some of the coffee shop girls, but I have never heard of girls sleeping with a guy for a night for a set amount of cash there. It seems you have to jock them just like you would try to jock any girl. Go there often enough, make small talk, and eventually ask them out.

It worked for me, but I had an huge advantage being I'm Vietnamese... haha

But good luck guys.

PS: For noobies I recommend Di Vang 3 on Brookhurst and Westminster, friendly girls and a decent amount of non Vietnamese customers.
