As for me, I have no idea as I never have even been to ATMB, although I've been to numerous other ones. I will try to report on them in the near future.
My first AMP visit. I had some free time and thought I would finally try one out. Imperial isn't too far out of the way so I gave it a go. The provider was later 30's / early 40's, but attractive and a good, albeit thicker, body. Fantastic massage, and now I know what the standard NoVa finish is. She gave me the name Jenny, fantastic rack, and some over the clothes roaming. She did try to upsell, but I passed just because of the clock. . 8 for an hour, . 6 for the tip. I will repeat.

Deeply hurt. Was this an act?
I have more reports. All better than this one, so I have not returned here. I would like to hear.

Let the text wrap as you type, and the forum's software will put it in good, readable form. By typing hard returns, the report is less-easily read (and also draws the ire of Admin). So, just a heads-up and a fair warning.[/LIST][LIST]If you have more reports, post 'em. However, you should try to ensure that they are reasonably current. A report that's 3 months out of date is often of little use, since many of the AMP ladies (and even the BP girls in the Chinese Condos) rotate out after a period of time. Also, if you've had a bad experience at an AMP, you do your fellow board members a favor by alerting them as early as possible, rather than a few months after the fact.[/LIST]
All in all, a good report, though. Welcome to the Forum and the hobby (officially, that is). Be sure to read the FAQs, which include the [B]22 Points[/B] of mongering. And also, if you have questions, just ask. You'll find folks here are almost always willing to help another member out, as long as he's not an ass and as long as he's done his homework first. Few are going to hand you any info on a silver platter, so you'll need to show that you've got "skin in the game" by having spent your own time and money (and, occasionally taking one for the team). But, as you gain "Board Cred", you'll discover that doors will open for you and members will often be willing to share details via PM, as long as you're not lazy or a "hoarder" who posts little info of value but seeks to "trade" info. If you've been lurking for a while, you've probably already seen these things. So, forge ahead and have fun. When in doubt, ask questions. And have fun.

The standard tip for Standard NoVa is. 4, and now you'll likely discover that every time you return, [U]each[/U] therapist will want the same level of tip. Not only that, but you make it harder for other mongers who visit there now, too. Oh, well, live and learn.
I'm also curious what she tried to "upsell", since Imperial is a "Standard NoVa" AMP. You mentioned some OTC roaming. Was she going to remove the top for an additional tip? If so, that is Bravo Sierra. A Standard NoVa finish should [U]include[/U] exposure of the headlights. If she didn't remove her top, then the tip should have been about. 3 or so.
[U][b]Recommendation:[/b][/U] Try another AMP and leave Imperial behind. Some AMPs try to "upsell" what should be included in a Standard NoVa finish. Whenever I encounter that [I]modus operandi[/I], I'll usually write that AMP off of my rotation. There are more than enough AMPs (as well as BP massage opportunities) in the DC area so that a monger shouldn't feel obligated to give in to these kinds of tactics.
Since Imperial is in a convenient location for you, you may want to try Care Therapy on Backlick. And, if you want to venture a bit further afield, consider visiting Top Therapy on Leesburg Pike. There are other good "Standard NoVa" locations, as well, but you'll likely find these to be equally suitable and fairly nearby.

Newbie second summary report.
After my first foray to PT (see previous report), I read more of the information you all have provided here and proceeded to do some my own checking.
For each AMP I have considered, I did a recon visit prior to actually getting a massage.
There are two AMPs off of Backlick west of Industrial Way. There is a little office park off Backlick there. Let's call them be and G. Be is a color and G is a star formation. I stopped by be first and found the Mamasan a little off. I asked to see the TS area and with some reluctance she agreed. The place is clean, but a little messy, For some reason I cannot fully explain I did not feel completely comfortable. I visited again two weeks ago and felt the same. I am interested if others have had good experiences here.
G is a more recent name for a place that has been there awhile. On my recon visit I was greeted by a very attractive Mamasan. Very well dressed with appropriate makeup. This place is very clean and very neat. I felt comfortable in the space. I should have stayed. I came back for a massage about 6 weeks ago and the Mamasan was not there. There was a very nice lady a bit on the older side (which I actually prefer) She was friendly with no pressure at all. If you are looking for young and knock out beautiful this is not the place. She asked for. 8 for an hour which I quickly produced. When I went into the room I placed. 4 on an obvious shelf. We did not discuss the. 4 or the services to come. I felt I did compensate her for her time. She gave me a very nice TS followed by what I would consider to be skilled massage. Not the best I have ever had, but up there close. This woman knew what she was doing in the massage area. About half way through I got to see and feel her surprisingly firm and nice headlights, which I roamed over a bit. The NOVA finish was a little too quick, but I felt no rush to leave the room. We had a nice GFE talk after with a water. She told me she was part time and there were often younger women giving massages I would like. I planned to return. Unfortunately, each time I have returned there is a sign on the door saying back at 4:30, I am a day person. Lesson learned: If you have a good experience, get her numbers.

(You should be able to identify the applicable posts.) Basically, that one was / is my "go-to" location for a good, solid massage after a workout at the gym. The ladies there are in their 50's, something I've been able to confirm by certain means. If I'm in the mood for a sensual time with a hot young gal, I can spend my dinero more effectively elsewhere. Don't get me wrong. Though: It's still an AMP, but it's not one where you're going to be leaving thinking that you've just had an ethereal experience. Basically, you get a very good muscle and joint workout here, which is great after spending time at the gym.
As for the MMS, she was probably just suspicious of your reason for wanting to see the TS area. Very few folks make that request, and she might have thought you were a Health Department inspector looking for some angle to give her some grief. Who knows, but that's my guess. And, when she saw you two weeks later, she probably remembered your request on the previous visit. It's a decent establishment, and she keeps a clean place (though a tad "messy" in the entrance foyer). If you go again, stay and get a good rubdown. They do seem to know how to give a competent massage, which is frustratingly rare for AMPs these days.

Thought maybe I could get in on the "go right at closing and enjoy extras" thing I've heard about, but no such luck. I guess you probably would need to be a regular, and she also mentioned she was hungry. Either way, didn't get a TS as she was in a hurry, and the ending was adequate, albeit a bit mechanic. The massage itself was quite nice, and she cracked my back. It was fantastic. I'd consider repeating just for the massage TBH. Didn't get anything beyond standard NOVA.

First I tried to go to FWC around 9:40 and they wouldn't open the door and said "we sorry, we closed". That's fine I went over to MM and was gladly accepted at closing time, which I appreciate a lot.
Got to see BeBe or DeDe I'm not sure. I'm guessing late 40's with nice body. I asked for soft, and I got a gentle rubbing with her offering light teasing.

I recently visited an independent spinner last week and while she doesn't offer FS, it is a great combination of therapeutic and sensual massage. I actually find these sessions to be more satisfying than FS in many cases unless its a GFE provider. Her.
Nova finish is especially erotic and not something I would consider standard by any means. She is also by far the best looking provider I've seen in the DMV. Provider is Korean, speaks fluent English, and has a very fit body due to being a yoga practitioner. While I would estimate her age to be 30-35, she looks amazing and much younger for her age. There are some small blurry pics on her website but they are disservice to how good she looks in person. Maybe she does that on purpose to deter creepers from trying to set up appointments. It's a rare case of a reverse bait and switch. Unfortunately, her sessions are pricey at $. 2 for an hour. I agree that its expensive for "just a massage", but it is well worth it imo. I'd rather experience an awesome FBSM with a beautiful young woman rather than subpar FS with an older unattractive one.
I often travel to NY and have visited a few high end establishments in Manhattan as well as a few trips to the now closed Philly Bella Spa. The above said provider was comparable albeit in different ways. The condo she works out of resembles a professional establishment and is extremely clean, borderline OCD. Friendly attitude and willingness are above avg as well. I was actually able to get two shots (sorry don't know the monger terminology for this) despite being a first timer. From what I've heard, each session gets better with more extras. She has a lot of regulars and it seems to be difficult to schedule same day appointments. Will PM details to interested senior members or regular members with worthwhile info. I've essentially given up on AMPs around here after being disappointed one too many times. Sponge batch followed by light back massage. Nothing spectacular on massage, but ok. Worked all parts and left nothing out.

There was no discussion of compensation at all, which I like, although it may be needed to advance.
One of the most common references here is to the "standard NOVA finish". Please check me on my understanding of this as follows: The standard NOVA finish appears to be loosely defined. From what I can glean it includes a HE after the flip at the very end of the massage followed by a quick cleanup. A typical tip for a massage with this service is. 4. The quality of the massage is not relevant when a standard NOVA finish is provided. Typically, OTC roaming is standard. Some feel that the provider should shed some or all of there apparel. I have not found this to be standard, but I have not attempted to negotiate any of these services. So? Does this describe the standard NOVA?
One place where there have some some non-standard aspects to the NOVA finish provided is at ST off Backlick north of Braddock. I have been there a couple of times. These are older providers. I like a neat environment. This place is ok, but not the greatest. That said, two separate MT have provided some non-standard services. On one occasion, a very skilled, slow deep Prostate massage was included. You may or may not like this, but in this case it was exceptional. On a second trip, the MT provided the NOVA finish in the middle of the massage hour (not the end). She was patient and encouraged me to not rush it. This resulted in being near the finish line multiple times. When the race was finally won, there was time left for more massage. This was a splendid experience. I was most thankful and told the ladies so.

You'll find a variety of attitudes about negotiation among the players here and a range of expectations among the ladies. The important things are to know what you want, know what you are willing to spend, make the effort to communicate clearly, and, above all, be respectful of the ladies.
Also, keep sharing your experiences. Benefits do accrue to those who contribute consistently.
Had some business in H-town a couple of days ago. I was hoping to see RR's CC ladies, but alas I was not able to make contact in the short window of time I had to work with. As a Plan be, I stopped in to a well-known AMP behind a tennis shop.
I was greeted by Lily in her LBD. Her ski tone revealed that she is 45+, but she was cute as a button and all Geisha giggly with a girlish voice. I quickly fell under her spell--and under her hands. She had a slow and sensuous approach to the massage and patiently worked out my kinks. This continued smoothly into the finish--nothing exotic here, standard NoVa and OTC, but still very sensuous and perceptive. There was no discussion of the tip, and she made sure I got all the time I paid for.
In short, in the NoVa AMP category, I highly recommend Lily.

Been there a few times while getting some car service done at one of the Pohanka dealership in see'illy, since it's only a small walk away. Decent AMP near rt 50. . 8 + . 4 for flip. Flip include pretty solid HE, but mostly got OTC very little UTC and unfortunately not much beyond that which is why I am exploring other options in that same general area. But for a solid massage from an attractive K girl w / decent HE, this place works.
Let me know if you guys know a place where they turn it up a little more on the extras in that see-ville / htown / see'illy area.

I was in Shantilly and got shutout at Mikos, both Cindy and Suzy were busy. I was interested to see what the repeat visit would do, but no luck. I decided on Best because usually standard is usual with no repeat visit bologna. I drew Pink (really? Seem she just made something up) on my visit. Pink is late 30's to 40's (7-8/10) longer hair, thin build, simple rack, had very short dress on. It's much better now all the HVAC is fixed and I got 1 hour massage with TS. I saw about three ladies working that were all pretty thin and decent in looks in the front. There was very little tease with TS Massage was just fine not special with some hot towels to keep it warm and warm blanket to lay on. She used unscented lotions. Techniques to avoid otc roaming all massage long The game changer was at end when the soft touch started and she wanted the tip upfront. The weird thing was she started to lecture me about all this stuff and that tip is never after service blah, blah, blah. It was disappointing with that ordeal (I know I should have got up then), but at least the handshake was firm. Definitely under standard NOVA with standard tip as there was no roam allowed or headlights used during this session.

On a second trip, the MT provided the NOVA finish in the middle of the massage hour (not the end). She was patient and encouraged me to not rush it. This resulted in being near the finish line multiple times. When the race was finally won, there was time left for more massage. This was a splendid experience. I was most thankful and told the ladies so.

However in my experience, very, very few of these therapists have any idea how to do this. As a result, what they provide is quite painful and does nothing to help one finish. However, based upon your recommendation, I will give this place a try.

I first met Sasha at CH Spa, then she opened her own place Spa Sasha a short distance away. Now, I understand she sold that business. She is a very attractive Chinese lady, probably in early 40's now with excellent all around skills.

Cloudy weather was getting me down so I decided to give them one last chance despite being shut out 3 x previously. I'm stubborn. Went for an hour with Sue. Mid-30's, perky breasts. TS was so / so. She was quiet for most of the time, even after my conversation starters. Unfortunately this let me hear just about everything next door where they were chatting it up hysterically laughing, as well as whoever it was that was pissed at the doorway that he'd called ahead, but they were busy now (hey man, took me four tries to get in, sorry, also, remember to be nice to the ladies). Place is very clean. Nice renovation. Massage started well, but she seemed to reduce the effort as time went one. Good walk on the back though. The light touch started and then she playfully negotiated the price. We agreed on. 6, but I left. 8 as she went well above and beyond the standard NOVA finish. Only got 45 m, but was satisfied at the end.

Nisa (the provider with a nice meaty butt) wasn't there but a new girl was, Sandy. Pretty good looking for a mid-age Chinese (maybe late 30's?) As always, standard noVA which was good. Her actual massage was great. I know I saw her around the another spot in noVA but she claims this is her first time in the area.

Visited the rt1 potomac therapy in woodbridge for a massage in mid month last month. Opted for a 45 minute special for. 6. I was attended by Nana and proceeded to a thorough table shower but no cleaning the joystick. The girl was easy on the eyes with curves in the right places. After the shower it was all business. Straight to the point and was asked to pay upfront. After I paid more than standard it was not that great. Very mechanical and uninterested nova finish. F / be / a / s would be 7/7/3/4. Was out in less than 30 minutes feeling short handed.
If you are in the area, may be worth a try. If you do, do not pay upfront.
Have been there twice. Once this past Spring and once in August. Was met at door by Kim, who was the only person in the parlor. Paid. 6 for half hour. No TS available. Massage was competent. On the flip, Kim asked where I had gone for massages before. After I mentioned the River Spa, Kim whispered that she would give me an HE, but not to tell anyone, since her boss did not allow it. HE was OK. Tipped her. 4 and left.
On the second trip I had Kim also; every thing was the same until the flip, when she refused to give the "NoVA" std HJ. Left her looking for a tip, which she did not find anywhere!
