I usually get the trim at the top cut close and have the boys shaved. I would not recommend a complete shave if it's not what you're used to or better yet, something you won't maintain. I'm not a grooming guy. I should have realized maintenance might be an issue after getting my ball shaved. More of an internal issue for me than an issue with the spa.
