Speaking of that hotel I drove by Saturday afternoon to go to the massage parlor beside there just on a whim to blow some hard earned money and as I drive by I saw the famous Palmetto Inn from tv and was admiring how much smaller it looks in person than on television. As I stopped next door and got out of the car a very nice van with about 6 people got out and they were literally taking pictures of the sign and the office. This was by all accounts a tourist road trip as they all had cameras out and were laughing taking pictures and admiring the hotel. The tv show is making that place famous by all accounts. I could not believe a group of well dressed decent looking people stopped there for pictures. If this keeps up it will be a tourist destination and cameras will be there all the time.
