During which time she DID stay sober. She was still a raving crazy beotch sober (yeah, I can pick them), and we're still friends to this day. Probably wouldn't be, if she didn't get preggo.

These chicks have to TRULY WANT to be saved, in order to actually get sober. I GAVE UP trying to save them years ago.

SW / addicts are not stray dogs. Give them a bath, warm meal, rub their belly and they'll love you forever. Only applies to DOGS.

Now, using while pregnant greatly increases the risks of delivering a damaged baby. And, sad as it seems, that's ON THEM, NOT US.

Rick.[/QUOTE]Yes, you two ARE correct in your assessment of Down's syndrome. The incidence of this particular genetic mutation increases as so does the age of the parents. Especially if they are BOTH older.

As far as using while pregnant, a damaged baby breaks the heart of BOTH parents if they have any kind of heart whatsoever. It would be very hard to know that you have a baby out there that is less than normal with a mother that probably will not be doing all she can for the child.
