I sit and read how mongers, especially newbies, put themselves in a predicament they cannot get out of. Who cares, right? I do. Their stupidity affects all of us. Instead of just being a crying complainer, I offer solutions.
SW’s should continue walking, occasionally stopping at a bus stop or at a phone booth. Don’t wave….the “look” is sufficient. Dress like everyone else, not with half your butt sticking out or your tits popping out for your turtle neck. A pair of jeans, conservative shorts, a blouse, t-shirt and COMFORTABLE shoes is all you need.

As for mongers, we are not the smartest either. I think we cause more harm than good. I substantiate my point with a few questions:
1. How many mongers have you seen slamming on their brakes when they see a SW?
2. How many illegal moves have you seen (running red lights, illegal u-turns, etc...)?
3. How many mongers have you seen multiple times, i.e. a minimum of 1.3 trillion passes/loops in their cars?
4. How many stop in the middle of the road, blocking traffic, to pick up the sw?
5. How many times have you done these things????

See, we bring the unwanted attention to ourselves. As an example, I saw a monger talking to a SW blocking traffic. There was a lights-and-siren-emergency-bound ambulance trying to pass. Stupid is as stupid does. A monger suggested parking and waiting. How about two passes/loops, leave, then come back about an hour later. Sing to the music in your car. Talk on the phone. Send a text message. For crying out loud, do something that does not make you look like you are mongering. Do “good citizen” things, like move obstructions from the middle of the road. Help with a flat tire. Help move a stalled car out of traffic. That gives you time to stop and scan. Now, I will not suggest you do that if you cannot defend yourself, if you do not look intimidating, if you are not brave or just look like a pu**y. Use the big head on your shoulders, not the little head in your pants (then again, some people have their heads up their ass).
Maybe they should take their heads out of the tequila bottle.

The sting that netted so many mongers should have been limited, even non-existent. The reason for the sting was residents/passerbys complaining; complaining about the increased traffic and careless driving. Also, what ever happened to intuition, the fabled “spidey sense”, the gut feeling? If it looks too good to be true, look again. It may be a sting. This board has a wealth of information that WILL significantly reduce the risk of you getting caught. The board plus common sense should keep you out of LE crosshairs. Make sure your lights work (all bulbs). Come to a complete stop…no “California Stops”. Geez, re-read the driver’s manual and this forum.

I’m pissed because a monger cut me off, crossing two lanes, then slammed on his brakes to pick up a sw. That SOB would have cumpled my front end, ruining the $1,798.83 I paid to get my car back from the repair shop (engine/transmission problems). That killed my mongering mood.

I completely agree with, and I think it is very hard for newbies to control themselves, when I started out I remember telling myself "f*** I should not have done that" many times over, my only thought was getting the SW before somebody else. But you know the Hypocrisy, I read the reports on the pigtown john watch forum and their related websites, and this guy knows every single SW, dealer in his neighborhood, he knows where they live, how their houses look like from the inside! , he says that he gives money to SW to help them out, to help them out with what! OK, these guys are not as stupid as I thought they were, from now on I declare myself a member of the Pigtown John watch, I will make myself a batch, drive around looking for SW with my camera, approach them and tell them that they "can't stand in one corner for too long", and then give them money to help them out and offer them a ride so the SW doesn't do anything illegal! , I will also take pictures of innocent bystanders (which by some weird reason was the girls uncle or mother in the case of Kristen) take their licence plate number and post them on a website, which by way outside of our group nobody else watches. To me it is a simple cover.

The recent reports about the stings on Whiskey Bottom are nothing new whatsoever. The police have been doing these off and on for about 15 - 20 years at least, even before the developments went in. Bacontown is just a hop skip and jump from Starting Gate on 198 and if you know Laurel, you know what goes on in Bacontown.

I must state that one time I was nearly drawn into a sting on Whiskey bottom right at the Starting Gate Side wall, about 14 years ago. It was bcause of information on the forum I did not get snared. I was horny as sh*t and was either going to go to SK or Rainbow....but saw this nice looking "SW" at Starting gate wall. THe girl had a satchel resting on the building (transmitter?) and never ranged more than 15 - 25 feet from that satchel. I circled and decided perhaps she was legit but had my suspicions nonetheless (she looked too clean and I had never seen her in the area before). I pulled up and asked her if she needed a ride, she said no....I pressed it a little with are you sure or some lame statement...she responded, "I am working" and I said "I know"....thinking in all honesty she was a SW now but she simply looked away and waved me off as she stepped away ....like I was wasting her time......I then said to myself, stupid *****.....but in the back of my mind, I said she is a cop....and I need to watch... but little head was still talking......went up to Rainbow (busy as crap) doubled back to SK and but went into the former 7-11 to watch the SW since she was still there....some Hispanic guys pulled up in a pickup truck and starting talking "Sh*t" with her and she stepped back from the pickup .......BAM, marked cars came out of nowhere and surrounded the pickup and those guys were toast. It was then I said thank god for this forum, cause I followed them and prevented a costly mistake.

Dont say anything of a procurement nature to any girl not in your car.

So, I've been cruising the loop from time to time over the last few weeks. However, after making about 2 loops, I get paranoid that I will be hassled by the LEO. In addition, I've noticed that on multiple occasions, I have seen helicopters circling overhead quite low.

The two questions I have are:

1. have you ever been stopped by LEO for circling around the neighborhood?

2. Any idea if the BPD is using aerial photography?

I join Clixxx in hoping for a good report from someone. As I have reported previously, the quality of reliably available talent has deteriorated. You might be surpised at some of the "old neighbor ladies" who appear to be simply on the stoop or walking to the Royal Farms.....often the are open to a little extra dollars, but dont want to be in the position of 1)being arrested or 2)visible to neighbors as a streetwalker type. Many a time I suspect that the apparent civilian may be working......so I put myself in position to make direct line of sight eye contact (out of the car works better but in the car has worked too). That single eye contact if given back is the nod to speak to the "civilian" in terms of "needing a ride". I have gotten young girls out for the very first time (in need of money and by the way usually excellent) and old (where I would not normally desire but horney enough and nothing else available) this way. Be forewarned, if the look is not reciprocated move on your way or if reciprocated with a "what are you looking at asshole" kind of response, keep on moving too.
