Anyone know what bars some lady's of the night hang out at? I heard Cafe Napoli turns into a night club where some fellas might get lucky. Never been though.

The only strolls in the area are the South Broadway Stroll and MLK Strolls. BUT the Baden srea Stroll on North Broadway has some action latley. Cafe Napoli in Clayton isn't a spot where you can find ladies of the night. It's an upitty bar. You got to get clean wearing a nice suit to even have a shot with them chicks. If you dress nice, have a nice car, and have a gift for gab with some game YOU may get lucky. If not you aint gotta chance 🙄. But if you go there step to the bar and get a few drinks. Then scope the scene. Most of the girls that go there come with there friends so look 👀 for the one that looks as if she is just tagging along but not to vocal and kinda shy. Ask her what she drinks and offer to buy her one. Then start your conversation from there. It's an upittty type of bar so don't expect much but some jive conversation. Usually I just give them my number and keep it moving. Every blue moon you may find one and get lucky but you have to have some serious King Kong type of game. This is the Kayla I know. Usually seen walking on South Broadway a few blocks north of Bates. She has reddish burgundy color hair. Short about '5 2" has a few picking sores. But not as bad as they used to be a few years ago 😳. Last I saw her was over the summer. This was her then. Be Cool. ZIP 👊!

I tried to roll up on her but there were a lot of cars passing by 🤨 so I went up to Itaska to turn around and just like that poof she was gone 😞. I happen to be familiar with both cities. And no, not very much the same at all. I'd say definitely NOT comparable. Unless you're unlucky enough that there's some other bigger reason they're camped out to sit on that particular spot at that time when you stumble into the middle of whatever. In the city limits of "The Lou" it is thinly policed compared to a lot of other places. I gather you haven't been in the City enough yet to observe the *ahem* extremely eccentric driving habits that are actually common, routinely doing amazing breathtaking stuff displaying a belief that many folks have long ago concluded they must be totally immune to laws not just of St Louis & Missouri, but also the laws of Isaac Newton. Stick around and you'll definitely see what I mean soon enough. I'm speaking just about things inside the formal City limits, which is really a pretty small part of the STL metro. The County is a very different matter.
But within the City, which is where the known semi-regular strolls kinda sorta exist, in my opinion in the 314 you're a lot more likely to get shot or stabbed and end up in a dumpster, than busted and towed and end up in jail like you might by cruising lotsa loops all night on 27th Ave (or east Van Buren in the old days) in the 602. But hey, if you know what you're doing it'll generally cost you only about half to a third as much on the way to risk the possibility of getting carjacked at gunpoint with a gal here in River City, as compared to what you'd have probably had to fork over to a working girl on 27th & Luke to get busted in west central PHX, so there's that to cheer about! Welcome to town.

LE (FTP!) on the St Louis Misery Stroll will pull you over so just cruze the speed limit. Don't run any lights or make quick UTurns. When you see a possible potential hooker 👀 to pick up pull over, not on her, BUT a few lenghts ahead. Check your surroundings as you pull up to make sure LE (FTP!) is not anywhere around. If so they will definitely swoop on you especially if a hooker is walking up to your car. The St Louis Misery Stroll is not like the Phoenix stroll where it's warm year around. It's still kinda cold out and they are still wearing a bunch of clothes. The Phoenix Arizona stroll on YouTube shows a much better selection of hookers to choose from plus they dress the part. BUT not here on the STL Misery Stroll 😳. You will find that most of these hookers here are either toothless meth addicts or are old and geriatric ready for the hooker retirement center. LOL! Every now and then after you make 10 laps of the stroll you may find a good one. You just have to have patience. Also the best time for more hooker selections would be Memorial Day weekend. This is when the weather will be hot for the entire summer and you will see more hookers out through October 1st. After October 1st the selections drop 🙄. BUT your best bet to get a good looking girl for a good time would be to try Listcrawler. The STL selections there would be better looking but they over charge for the goods 🙄. Plus some of them used to be hookers on the stroll. Anyway just be careful and be aware of your surroundings. I hope you don't plan on staying here in St Louis Misery. This place is no good at all 👎. I heartily endorse the suggestion for people looking for mutually satisfying informal type transactions between consenting adult men & women to PLEASE try to be a bit less stupidly indiscrete & careless in some of their maneuvers, for the good of all, girls, guys, neighbors, public servants with more productive things they should get to. But, that said.
The new gentleman's question reminds me of a related query of my own: Has anyone ever seen or heard of local LE ever running a reverse sting, using policewoman decoys and suchlike to bust guys specifically & solely for this particular purpose, on the streets of St Louis? I haven't, but maybe I'm just not fully informed about that. For that matter, I also have yet to talk to a single STL curbside SW type working girl, who says she's ever been popped for anything like "loitering to solicit" or some such thing that's really a pretty commonplace everyday occupational hazard in some other cities I'm familiar with. Or even anyone who even knows of anyone second-hand who says she ever has. I'm not asserting that I know for sure that it definitely hasn't happened, just the fact that I haven't heard of it in this town. At all. And I've got that same answer when I've asked more than a few local ladies that I thought would surely be experts in a position to know about such stuff, and that's surprising to me to the point of seeming almost weird compared to say PHX or LAX or LAS and suchlike.
Along those lines, for the very ground floor of that kind of mission it seems to me like maybe they'd firstly and with foremostness want to get around to making themselves at least slightly inconvenient occasionally to the very obvious dope house locations that have been operating openly at the same spots 24/7/365 for years without interruption, busy openly conducting the business that so many of the SWs are sort of chained to, and sometimes dying from, ya know? Like that phony "store" that mostly is in the fentanyl business at the SE corner of North Grand & Montgomery, what with all the messy unsightly customers' bodies regularly turning up dead for at least the last seven or eight years along the wall right across the street from their door right next to the dope & gangsta "motel" that probably has never seen an actual suitcase in this century, and the ridiculous supposed gas & "convenience" store that's very openly involved in a crack slinging operation doing "rock" bidness right over the counter all night long on N. Union Blvd about a block north of MLK, well known to practically everyone with a glass pipe between Chicago & Memphis, and I could go on and on. But maybe I'm not getting the picture right, and I'm very sincerely open to learning more of the ground truth that I could be mistaken or just incompletely knowledgeable about, and I really would be into changing my mind with more information that I might not be aware of.

Undercover LE (FTP!) has been used to net Johns for soliciting sex from prostitutes. I believe most of us who partake in this sleezy hobby are aware when picking up a prostitute along the stroll there may be a chance for a vice sting operation.
The Phoenix newbie query was concerning Ho Mongers cruising the same streets over and over in fear of LE interfering 😳. Mr Newcomer seemingly but simply was asking for insight or comparison of both the Phoenix stroll and the St Louis Stroll. Mr Newcomer inquisitivly asked how both cities relate while cruising BUT also implying possible prevelent LE (FTP!) interference as they do in Phoenix. Well sir the answer is yes! LE (FTP!) in St Louis Misery will harass Johns just as they do in Phoenix 🙄. I may not be an expert but as a Ho Monger since 1990 I have participated in this hobby a long time. The best advice for a newbie here in St Louis would be to use caution, visually surveying while lapping the stroll. Do not make reckless indecisive UTurns. LE (FTP!) will definitely swoop you as they sometimes roll in unmarked vehicles. Also don't pull directly on a potential worker. Pull a few lenghts up as she will walk to your window to discuss physical interactions. I would also suggest getting a room in the area and have it already in play. Taking one of these hookers to an alley or somewhere of her choice is no good at all 👎. For a newbie, you will just be setting yourself up to get snitched on by the neighborhood watch committee or you may even get robbed 😳.
In closing my advice for any Newbie would be to carefully use common sense while cruising. Don't make any suspicious indecisive or quick foolish movements while you are driving. Zip, well okay then I'll take your word for it that they've done streetwalker decoy sting operations. Even though some local gals I know who've been working the streets for more than a decade say they have never heard of it here, they probably have never been outside of their particular hood which just hasn't got that same kind of attention like that (some of them haven't had a family member leave 'their' neighborhood at all for three generations). And of course I agree with your advice about making dumb indiscrete maneuvers that draw attention, foolishly advertising what you're up to and needlessly pissing off people in the neighborhood and provoking the civil servants patrolling it.
But I believe the specific question he asked has to do with something you may not be really familiar with if you haven't lived in or spent a lot of time in some other cities, and maybe we'll just have to agree to disagree about how you see it. Besides the experience of having previously lived for over 20 years in the region he's coming from, part of our different point of view may come from me spending a lot more time in the north side areas of STL and only rarely cruising around Broadway in South City, and I think we might be able to agree there are some real differences in what is accepted as "normal" looking behavior in different neighborhoods. I'll try not to get too long winded and boring with detailed stuff that won't be relevant to people here, but in some other cities (Phoenix, Fig in LA, W Trop & Boulder in Las Vegas) there are official blocks of some streets that have been formally legally designated as special high vice corridors that call for special LE suppression by doing a lot of much more heavy handed stuff than what happens in STL about both motorists & pedestrians. Like prohibiting many very tame otherwise totally normal boring type turns, meticulously logging who goes by exactly how often and aggressively enforcing some very unusual ordinances specific to those blocks, which have been declared as giving them probable cause to do a full roadside rectal exam on much less grounds than elsewhere, and issuing exclusion orders totally banning individuals from even being in those designated areas at all as motorists or pedestrians, and paying lotsa bucks to do expensive elaborate operations around all that stuff. And maybe most importantly, providing lots of proudly announced official public political encouragement for doing it. You might feel that some things LE does here seem like what some of that sounds like to you, but having lived both here and where he's coming from, no, most definitely not, they are very different. Way different. You'd probably have to have seen it to get how different it is.
I'm pretty sure the very specific thing he was asking about was making some laps, by driving up the street and then after a decent interval of time that might be consistent with running a few little errands to here and there and to be driving back down the way he came, like going to a few places to visit some joint over here & there & back. I like jazz & blues & like checking out some scruffy local venues for it. And doing that in a normal looking sensible kind of way. In Phoenix or LA on a certain stretch of a particular formally designated street, that could very likely get you lotsa trouble in some designated places at the wrong times when they are doing 'special enforcement', without doing anything else at all, with nothing but pretty ordinary conservative totally normal boring type driving action, much more easily than here. If you don't think so, I'll just say that you're mistaken about that, but if you feel you're sure that's not how it is I won't be participating in continuing an argument with you about it.
Of course the same basic rules of caution apply on the street everywhere, and if Zipster wants to educate about that, good on him. I've done a little of that myself sometimes. I'm sure we're on the same page there, singing from the same hymn book, chanting the same motto, insert your favorite cliche. So yeah, don't ignore your surroundings or give up control of who might be in your immediate physical environment; never go along with anything that could lure you into a setup to get robbed or worse. Don't do weird illegal or conspicuous driving or stopping actions. Think about how it would be from your point of view if you lived there, were friends with the alderman, had the local police swing shift captain who is your favorite aunt's boyfriend on speed dial, and were looking at that from your own home porch. Even if everybody else is in a frenzy doing all kinds of weird and damn dangerous stuff behind the wheel, as they routinely do without fear of any consequences in parts of STL. And even if there's a much more conspicuous traffic jam from a crowd of people openly buying & selling crack right across the street from that working girl you'd like to scoop up. As there are right now in more than a half dozen places in STL that I could name, including some that have never been mentioned on this board, and probably won't be. For good reason, in my opinion, and I won't be responsible for what happens if I say something to send any suburban people into those very insular extremely messed up but still close knit neighborhood places where everybody knows exactly who is who. But I do know very well what a SW sting is and looks like, and how to avoid them, for about forty years now. I've seen plenty of them. In my opinion it really takes someone spectacularly clueless, childishly impulsive, very drunk, or just plain stupid to get themselves caught in one. I don't want to start wading into the pointless cultural squabbles of warring political tribes over dumb political ideological crap that surely won't be productive at all, but both those StL City (again NOT StL County) officials are explicit highly public advocates of a "decriminalization of 'sex work' platform" they adopted from a feminist lobbying political advocacy pressure group that's apparently treated as a definite part of their constituency, and they have apparently issued public directives to their respective LE supervisory staffs to that effect.

The main drag is S Broadway BUT it's good to drive around the corner into the surrounding neighborhood where you are to check for LE.
