I imagine that this has happened to other, but I've had a few providers hit me up asking for $50 and they would take it off my next visit. One, I've only done this a few times and with providers I had seen more than 2-3 times. But I also make it clear that I may make myself available on demand / short notice if necessary if they call on me, usually for half the norm. I am not a charity and I have found loaning just ruins perfectly good relationships.
