Most of these ladies who put those stipulations in their ads probably couldn't even tell the difference between an African, an African American, or someone from the islands (hell you could probably lump Hispanics and Indians in there too). Golfcart mentioned below that going between the sheets is as personal as it gets, but the thing is that they're not differentiating based on compatibility, attractiveness, weight, hygiene or anything else besides race. So when you put a, by all accounts, handsome, clean-cut black / Hispanic / Indian guy that's well off enough to see this so-called high-end escort multiple times next to an overweight, under educated white guy with a sweating problem that will most likely be a one-time deal and the lady says that she won't see the first guy but will see the latter, it kind of irks you after a while (and please note guys that I'm definitely not saying that most or any of you mongers fit this description; just using it for illustrative purposes).

I typically give the low-end ladies a pass on this because they do next to no screening and one guy from a particular race can spook them (except of course if it's a white guy that's doing the robbing then everything goes on business as usual for some reason). But for the high-end ladies that require more info than most bank loans, I find it reprehensible and down right racist. Because the bottom line is that they're NOT attracted to all their clients from a particular race and with proper screening should have relative assurance of their safety from someone of any race. So, to me, all they're saying is "I don't like black people" which in this day and age just makes me stop and say "Really? They still make people like you?" And like I said before it just irks me.

Very well said. While it's true that getting naked with someone "is about as personal as it gets," these ladies have chosen to sell sex. And while they should definitely be treated with respect, and should definitely protect their own safety, whether or not they are attracted to the client is quite irrelevant. They're attracted to the money, after all.

Most of it is out and out racism; as you say, what it really means is "I don't like black people." These same girls would be annoyed to have a black doctor, a black accountant, or a black teacher in their kids' classroom.

(For the record, I'm white as could be, but seeing racial preferences / prohibitions on a girl's ad pisses me off just the same. I've never seen a girl who does that, and I never will.)

Dirty Dog's point about the age thing ("no men under 35") is a good one too, and that always annoyed me as well. Sadly, I myself am now north of 35 years old. But I did see a few girls back in my younger days who professed an age requirement. I simply honestly told them my age, and asked if they would see me, even though I didn't make their cutoff. A few said no, but most said yes.

I just recently put no African American on my ads because of the high volume of phone calls I was getting. When I asked them for references from other well reviewed providers they had none. Because of the scary situation here in Birmingham most providers aren't willing to take a chance unless someone can vouch for them. I had one guy yell at me why did he have to give me a reference? He's not applying for a job! I just told him to call someone else and hung up. Since there isn't a very good description of the guy who's robbing the providers or even his phone number to beware of. Just not seeing anyone from that guys race is all we can do to stay safe. After getting brutally beaten during a robbery, once is enough for me.

But, is this what this forum has really been reduced to? Discussing race issues? I thought we were here to share our experiences about the hobby of mongering. Now, I do have an opinion on the issue, but I don't care to share it, becuase if we dig deep enough down, we are all in the same situation. I must say though, if you think black guys are the only one's who yell, steal, and beat, then there is something terribly wrong with your terminology! Although, that may have just been your experiences.

If it was a white guy doing these things then I would be cautious with white clients too. I have nothing against black people I have quite a few black friends and some of my long time clients are black men. But if you have different requirements for people of different races, you're not really protecting yourself at all.

Many providers especially high end girls and girls that actually live in the community, who would have you come to their homes for a session do this. So if you don't like the process don't ***** just move on to someone who will see you without it. Those of us who know Jasmine know she is a person of impeccable character, sweet and generous. She often screens clients and race is not a factor. Often it is a vibe on the phone; a hunch based on how the person speaks that prompts her to ask for a reference. Many of her clients are Black, including some of the most respected Senior members of this board. So if screening is not your thing just find someone who will see you without it.

I would have to support Jasmine or any provider's choice to screen. They are inviting you into their world. The men on this board or any other do not usually just see an ad make a call and invite a total stranger into their home wihtout screening. The reviews and the posted profiles of providers are a big part of the screening we do. This is a screening forum. If we want to feel safe with the ladies why ***** about them wanting to feel safe with us. If any one of us is not comfortable with the screening process of a particular lady, move on and find another. As for the racial profiling thing it is sad but true to some extent it is there and will always be. If a lady does not want to see short dicked old white guys, I will move on.
