Yes times are tough and people still buy. But the minute the priceline is crossed, some of us mongers will end up looking elsewhere for cheaper prices. And the AMPs that increased their fares will be left with no revenue at all. Visit sunshine/jasmine spa in Greenbelt and you'll see what I'm saying. They get only 1 customer per day. I know it sounds bizarre, but go there and talk to the mamasan. They are charging $90 for one hour + tip. The only reason they're still there is because the apartment belongs to them.

Yes, I RTFF but it seems like no one knew for sure why the closings took place.

Maybe it was a kind of provider strike for higher prices. The know we got yellow fever from the closings and now they're jacking up the prices only jacking us --i.e. no FS.

I'm amazed at you guys. You collude to keep prices low and then wonder why the providers leave town. Don't forget that the supply and demand curves work both for those who demand a good or service, but also for those who supply or produce the good or service.

And on the supplier side of the relationship, both the capital (owners) and the labor (girls) can and will analyze the situation at any point. If they decide that the work, danger, risk, etc. of providing the service in a particular location outstrip the profit or income that they can realize, then they are free to either move to another location to do the same thing or to leave the industry altogether and use their resources in some other way.

One would hope you have all learned an important economic lesson. Of course I know this is not true for J.J.

There are no more hot girls left in downtown DC and only old girls trying to rip us off at M Spa and Jasmine are left. Now I have to make a trip to Sky or Angel Exotics to find a nice girl. I just wish there was something closer to work.

I'm not going to debate this, but the closings had nothing to do with prices. In fact it was indiscrete postings here that led to it.

Be patient, they're not gone for good...

Lex is correct IMHO! You had a great thing going and and some of you listened to the "pontificating" by the sorts "Sleazebum"..Don't bring more than $.6 under any circumstances!!

Being a tight ass for an additional .2 or .4 is ridiculous. If you can't afford the product don't buy it or save till you got the cash!!! I used to try to get away with the absolute minimum tip at our local AMP..It works for a while but if you become a regular and get known as a "cheap charlie" service will eventually suffer...tip at or above the norm and you will be treated accordingly.

You had a great thing going there in DC...so many AMPs so little time.

Not long ago the author spent a day photographing customers going in and out of Jazmin Spa. She posted them on her blog and bascially said this is sex slavery.

I always scout the area before going in, I recommend the same.
