Haven't posted for awhile but thought I'd offer two updates.

1) not to have a discussion on Lucy, she either is or isn't your cup of tea. Recently though she has been rather lack luster. I too have been known to indulge in Lucy, maybe once a year or so when the urge comes over me. To them, it's X dollars to do why acts and no more. Just because they allow DATY doesn't mean they will reciprocate the gesture if they aren't offering. This is not a normal relationship of give and take, but a monetary transaction to pay for play. Negotiate beforehand so everyone is comfortable and everything is clear. I'm fairly certain that most aren't doing this because they enjoy it regardless of the compliments coming out of their mouth.
