The resin behind is to block receptors from the beginning. But nobody takes HIV medicine as "prevention" . It has a lot of side effects, people who take it have to have regular check ups for pancreas, liver, etc through blood tests. Moreover, insurance won't cover it if it's for long term use for "prevention" . I'm not a doctor and I've never had STD's in my life, but I have some friends who work in the pharmaceutical and medical field.

Anyway, it's always good idea to wear a condom, nothing is 100% safe (only celibacy) but condoms may help reduce the risk.

I sent him a PM after he made his post to ask who it was. Nothing about his post history suggested to me he was a troll. I don't want to get in trouble again for talking about this LOL but needed to clarify that he didn't name her in his post, even before he had deleted it.
