After you've used the pre-paid card, just go into your profile Payment settings and cancel auto-renew. You'll eventually see a countdown reminding you how many days of 'Premium' status you have left, and when that's up you just revert to a basic member. All your old messages remain, but you can't read them anymore or send new ones until you pay again. Everything else like favorites list and search settings all stay the same, so you can continue browsing just like you did when you had paid. Seems like a pretty common strategy. Browse until your Favorites and 'Recently Active' search start to look the same, then pay for a month and get as many numbers as you can. Decide at the end of that month if it looks worth it to renew (usually not) or spend a month or two trying out those new prospects from the SA sidelines.

So I was reading faq for payment and one section said that I can use itunes gift card. Well apparently you can't anymore, because they don't have the app for apple. So no I have a 100 itunes card, not sure what I'm going to spend 100 on itunes. Google still has the app and my burner is android. I lucked out because it offered me a 7 day trail, this time I made sure it was going to work so I paid $25 and I get a week membership. Anyway wish me luck!

Paypal / Venmo will ban you for life if you use their service to buy pictures / videos that aren't published on a website or in a magazine due the new vague Trafficking laws. They also stopped SA from using them for their subscription fees. Everyone is trying to distance themselves from these sites / services, I think Google thinks they are too big to chase along with SA changing to more like a dating site.

Why does the upgrade only work on the app? I bought the one week option on the app, so I'm thinking this is why. Is it possible to make the upgrade work on a normal browser.

I upgraded via the app, and it worked also from a regular browser.
