And this is why we should all be using separate hobby email accts
I had a similar experience with my email account over the past couple of days. I won't go into detail here because, quite frankly, I'm paranoid as fuck. However, I will say that whomever you send an email to is automatically saved to your contact list which means if your account gets hacked then the hacker automatically has access to all of your contacts so be sure to clean out your address book from time to time.
And this is reason #192 why I will never give my personal info to a provider. A situation like this could very well leave your personal info floating out there in cyber space exposed to prying eyes despite the noblest intentions of our lady friends.
Stay safe everyone,
Mr P
They are DISPOSABLE. Just like a hobby phone. Trouble? Close it out & open a new one. Hell. Have a couple of spares ready to go. They are FREE. Do not keep contacts in the account. Keep a text document (NOT word or word pad. Use notepad and save the file with an extension other than. Txt. Then drag & drop it into notepad to open.) The wife can then click on it all she wants. And nothing will open it. Mac users. Come up with your own way to hide a file in plain sight. Am I paranoid? You bet. You should be too.
PS. Mr Pickles mentions his email client auto saves contacts. DO NOT USE THAT EMAIL SYSTEM FOR THE HOBBY! There are any number of free webmails that don't. A word to the wise on Gmail. Google makes it's $$$ by collecting information on YOU. If you are logged into Google. And this includes Gmail. They are keeping track of every place you visit. That is their fee for using their free service.
For all of you paranoid folks
How many of you were aware that everything you posted here before the forum changes was turning up on CityXGuide?

I wonder if that was the motivation for the changes? Spoofed or not, personally I prefered the old UI.
Am I just now seeing this feature?
I just noticed that each poster has his handle in white, bold letters, on his post, but the color barely stands out. It's almost invisible but is there. Don't tell me this has been this way all along and I'm just now noticing it!
Is this new?

Ashley this one's for you
Here you go:
Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was admired for her sweetness and kindness to all.
One afternoon, the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.
As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young minister noticed a cut glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water, and in the water floated, of all things, a condom!
When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat. The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and he could no longer resist.
'Miss Beatrice', he said, 'I wonder if you would tell me about this? ' pointing to the bowl.
'Oh, yes, ' she replied, 'isn't it wonderful? '
'I was walking through the park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. '
'Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter! '
Thought of you the minute I read it.
