So long time reader, long time poster short time new profile. Made the trip to a couple of the east side titty clubs over the week end while visiting a friend out in are Ranch area. Ran into a cute little hispanic gal, Isis, who after a dance or two talked me into a cabana. A memorable performance indeed full, uncovered if desired, menu I available for the taking and not bad in most categories. Would repeat, but definitely pre negotiate so as not having to haggle on your way out of cabana.

Stopped by the Boat over the weekend and ran into Mari (sp), who used to dance at TDE cute hispanic gal smallish boobs GREAT ass. Lap dance and a chat, telling me some other TDE long time dancer has recently passed away, total mood killer I tell her. She suggests the champagne room to realign to mojo that we had going on. Upon entrance we have an entire half of the room to ourselves, so I drop a Jackson on the doorman and let him know we will be 4 or 5 songs at longest. He says thanks and premarks his clip board with said information. Forgot that Mari likes to have things a little rough when playing. Hi, New to forums, long time club customer across this town tho. I was at the Boat last week and saw an old pal dancer (Angelica) and had a great time, however I noticed the songs were awefully short, as in barely 3 minutes (hard to tell with the DJ talking way too much at the end of ea song). My experience at Venom was that 4 minutes was not unusual there. Just wondering what the other clubs in town are doing. Maybe if the DJ didn't blabber the final 20 secs of the song it wouldn't be so noticeable, do all the clubs have overly chatty DJ's?

The drink specials are almost gone, and the drinks are weak. The girls can no longer talk with you in Champagne without being charged per song by the house. All the songs are cut short by the DJ talking over them to end them early and promote something, and then, on to the next song and new dancer. I timed them and they went through 6 songs in less than 15 minutes, that's 2 1/2 minutes per song. Even on the floor that's .60 for a 1/4 of an hour, BS, or in the champagne room $80 per hour. If they think the customers won't notice or don't care, they're wrong, a lot of the regulars are not happy and the seats show the result. For the first time I tried to use one of the discount drink tickets given to me by a few of the dancers and the Manager came to my table and told me they were only for new customers. I'm pretty sure some of the other clubs wouldn't mind a new customer. IMHO.

Something special was going on, though I don't remember what. Before I paid my cover, I asked the doorman if there was even anywhere to sit. He that there should be, but that something could be worked out if there wasn't. There was no place to sit, so I went back to the doorman. Basically what he told me was that the club was keeping my money and I could go if I wanted to, that's what we were going to work out. Haven't been back in there since.

Then the biggest problem was that they instated a tip pool, which screwed the doormen that knew how to treat customers correctly. I remember I went to tip the guy who usually makes sure the waitresses come around and my songs are correct and he said don't bother because he would only see 1 dollar of it. He and a few others left that very week. And with them went some girls and the legitamacy of that club. Sure there are some pretty girls there, but its not worth it to me anymore. Its one thing to get screwed out of my money by a dancer its another to get screwed by the club.

Last time I took someone besides Brittney to the VIP she was a royal be*tch about it and I didn't even do anything with the other girl. She told me if I messed with other girls in there she wouldn't see me again and have me thrown out of the club. Can anyone pm me and let me know what days and shift Mari usually works. I would like to get a dance with her and avoid the Brittney diva wrath.

During the course of several days I visited both Venoms and the Reef.

For my taste, Venoms has a better system in the way they use the Cabanas... Flat fee, TOTALLY private, flat rate to enter, dancer & customer negotiate the fee.

The Venom report:

Day One Day shift, Average looking Latina with slight belly and tattoos, .15 for the Cabana, initially quoted $$ for FS but settled on $.

Day Two Night shift, Great looking Latina, .15 for the Cabana, one song into my stay it was determined that she was only willing to offer HJ so I paid for one song and left.

The Reef report:

Day One Day shift, Great looking young Latina, two songs into my stay it was determined that she was only willing to offer FIV and self-fulfillment. However, during those two songs, there was great breast and FIV action. Her pussy was totally wet after 1.5 songs of dry grinding. When asked if more was on the menu or if takeout was available, she gave the usual "Once we spend more time together, and I get to know you". Which to me means spending more money and getting the same NO for an answer. On a positive note, she did introduce me to two other Latin gals that are know for FS. Unfortunately it was time for me to depart.

Day Two Night shift, average looking small breasted sway-backed Asian mixed. One song, an it was determined the money to reward ratio was not good.

Both times I visited the Boat, I was looking for Mari. The manager on duty told me that they didn't have a Mari or Maria, but maybe I was looking Mariah. I never could figure out the whole Mari thing. Also, many of the Night shift gals were fucked up on something, either booze or drugs, and many were with their boyfriends.

I haven't put any names into my review because I don't want to tip off the management. However, I will share the names with trusted members via PM.

The Clubs can be a great source of fun, but as many of us know it usually takes lots of time and money invested to get the most out of it.

I can tell you that the tip pool system worked out MUCH better all the way around.

What you have to understand is that there are several "posts" I guess you could call it (for lack of a better term) that doormen work. Some of these posts were more lucrative than others. VIP was VERY lucrative. Being the guy who watched the girls and made sure they didn't leave until they paid their house fee or watched the cars in the parking lot didn't pay shit. You have to remember that a doorman is NEVER paid minimum wage. Some clubs pay minimum, some pay the "tipped employees" sub-minimum wage. And benefits, yeah right. So, the only money they'll ever make is in tips. This in an industry where most of the dancers, you know, the ones that the doormen are there to protect, see doormen as nothing but financial leeches that they don't need there.

Not having a tip pool resulted in far too much lying, politicking, and backbiting of other doormen. Some might say that dues might need to be paid before you get the good posts. That's all well and good to a point, but I can't tell Tucson Electric Power "Yeah, I know I didn't pay my bill, but another doorman has been working at my job longer so that's why I don't have the money. Can you leave my lights on anyway? That's not going to work in the real world.

The clubs with the tip pool weren't as bad to work in. There was more of a teamwork atmosphere, and doormen weren't afraid to do what was asked or what needed to be done (like barbacking, etc). Because they knew they were going to get their fair share. There were still assholes, but at least I was reasonably certain that I got my fair share of what was coming to me. Just because I wasn't standing in front of VIP didn't mean I wasn't working as hard. If anything, I was working harder (carrying full beer kegs, etc)., so I deserved just as much as the other guys.

Based on my combined experience for all the clubs I worked, I can tell you the following with certainty: If you're a hard worker with honesty and integrity who takes pride in his work and is a team player and somewhat sociable to his coworkers, you will NEVER make it working as a doorman at any strip club. Every time I think about strip clubs or bouncing I breathe a sigh of relief that I don't have to do that for a living any more. I don't even go to the clubs anymore. Way too many bad memories of when I was working those clubs. I hated it so much. I am so glad it is over.
