If things go sideways, from a provider / handler making threats of blackmail or police trying to track you down because your number showed up on a provider's phone, taking these precautions (along with others) will allow you to create a barrier between you and this hobby.

But being that I am just getting back steady into the hobby, I am struggling to understand where a lot of these women are coming from concerning their rates since Covid. Keep in mind, I started hobbying 2009-2010 ish and I have seen changes in the game, but things are bonkers right now IMHO. I had a crazy phone interaction this past week with a well known "higher-end" provider. Even though I just recently posted that I would never pay xx amount for an hour with any woman, I had the cash and thought I would look deeper into the more high-end girls in Raleigh to see what I was missing. I was speaking (Not texting) with this provider and things started off great. Her voice was luscious, she was VERY well spoken and seemed to really have a good head on her shoulders. Then I made the mistake of letting her "verify" me, which I will not do again, but I did it because she is well established here. After a couple of minutes, she calls back and I asked about rates for her time and services. She quoted a RIDICULOUS number for an hour with 2 pops but no greek. Greek was $200 extra! I never once got rude but politely told her that was more than I was willing to spend that day. I was willing to spend $600 just because of who this was, but no more. Her well spoken voice immediately turned to trailer park trash LOL. She started raising her voice and dumped a ton of laundry on herself. Now she didn't call me poor or broker, and she never said I have Sugar Daddies that pay this all the time! No, she yells "I'm penniless", "my room is only paid for through Sunday", "no gas in my car", on and on. I tried to calm her down and made her a very reasonable offer without greek and she ended up hanging up on me. Must not have been too broker, huh?

So, why are a lot of these women getting this way? Is it THEIR mindset, or OURS that causes this? Am I that out of touch with the hobby? I know there are wealthy guys who pay absurd money for pussy. But I also know that middle to upper-middle class guys like me are the VAST majority of clients. So I beg anyone who has read this far to PLEASE answer this question: Which woman in the attached photo would you choose as a LONG TERM provider in the following scenario. Here is the hypothetical info: Both of these women are the same height (Your preferred height), both are always fresh shaved and showered and both host in a decent room. Both women have really great, fun and sexy attitudes. Both offer BBBJ, cim, cof, cob and daty. They are pretty much equally skilled in all of these activities. (I am purposely leaving out BBFS as that varies wildly with both mongers and providers!) The ONLY FOUR DIFFERENCES between these two women: 1 - Their age. 2 - Their appearances due to the age difference. 3 -The price. 4 - The one on the Right does NOT offer qv or hh sessions. I really don't understand your point and you basically answered your own question. I'll start with the two providers at the bottom. Not sure if the pics are of actual ads but I wouldn't choose either one because their faces are blurred. I don't see any provider that doesn't show her face. She would have to write one hell of an ad and hit every thing that I am looking for, including price. So yeah, neither. Now I would say that the one on the left pricing would actually cause me to question her intentions. Offering greek at that price is a red flag. The one on the right is just a hell no because no pussy is worth $800/ hr.

Now as far as you questioning the current rates as to why they exist? I mean no disrespect but it's because of guys like you. You were willing to pay $600/ hr and compromise what you were looking for. I can only imagine what she originally asked for. There are zero girls on any site that we use, that is worth that kind of money. Those types of providers, aren't on sites. None that we know about anyways. I'm a middle class guy, and my limit is 400, occasionally 500/ hr. The important thing for me is GFE, which generally means 3, sometimes 4 things. Enthusiastic kissing, BBBJ, DATY, and sometimes, good conversation between pops. What higher end generally means, and I say generally because this may not always be true, is a safe location, and time with someone who has never done any hard drugs, has never been to see uncle LEO, has a decent enough credit score to be able to maintain an apartment, possibly a car for outcalls, and generally takes care of herself. And is stable enough that you can always count on a good time.

Right now, I think the most well-adjusted provider with rates similar to the one on the left that I've read about in the last 3-4 months is Summer. Yet she keeps losing her phone, and I doubt she has a permanent place of residence.

Compare that to someone like say xNoa. She is pretty, has a good head on her shoulders, is a good conversationalist, provides good service, has a stable place of residence, and was charging 300. She was smart enough to retire. And I still miss her, because she was an actual good person. She actually offered me a free visit once because I was going to be in a different country for a month+ and I just offhand texted her that I was going to miss her. I didn't take her up on her offer, but still. That's the kind of person she was.

I also read many instances where someone has a bad experience, and are almost always out 100 bucks, sometimes less, sometimes more. How frequent are those bad experiences? How much of a dent does losing 100 bucks put in these members' pockets? Are they more careful next time? Do they go for their regulars instead after a bad experience?

How many losses of 100 bucks can one stomach before deciding, you know what, maybe I should go for someone who is (a little) higher end and at least have a good time, instead of trying to TOFTT and possibly losing 100 bucks, or having an experience where the provider is strung out, or barely conscious, or a straight up thief who will rob you.

There's a lot of nuance to this discussion, and I'm not saying all higher end providers are worth their prices. My policy is this: I try to find providers in my range, providers who are stable and provide a consistently good service, and I don't worry about other stuff. I got lucky with Samara and xNoa. I haven't found another regular yet. But I've liked seeing Melani Macqueen when she visits. I saw Blair Parker once and I had a good time with her too. If a provider raises her price, I request to be grandfathered in. Generally I've been granted that request. If not, I consider myself priced out and look for another provider.

I'm old enough to remember when the things you describe in the high end providers were available for $80, from a clean, drug free provider. In today's money that would be about $110. Sadly those days are long gone. The only hope I have about the new law is that maybe it will eventually eliminate the pimps, who are the ones getting these girls hooked on candy so they can control them. Pimps don't care about our experiences or if the providers make it to old age, and have probably contributed more than any other factor to the state of things.

I always seek new experiences, which means returning to the same provider has never happened, even if they're good or inexpensive. I'm yet to meet a provider in this area who makes a return visit worthwhile.

I'd spend about $350 for the other girl, not a penny more. My monthly budget for this hobby is set at $700, and this is preferably spread out among 2-3 different providers rather than spending it all on one. As one of the fellow mongers mentioned, no provider that we see on these sites is worth $800.

My concern would be the legitimacy of both pictures because both would seem like scams.
