I've been in the hobby game for a while and I've had the pleasure of meeting some very lovely (and not so lovely) , providers, stripper, porn stars and UTRs. Many of which I have reviewed and more that I have not. Due to my work travel, I have had visits from the West Coast to East Coast, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, I will say that of ALL the places I made arrangements, Columbia, SC has been THE WORST (yes, I said the WORST and I did not studder) place I've experienced NO CALLS. NO SHOWS. I was shocked that this was so prevalent and it was not just new girls or UTR's, when I first moved here, I was experiencing this with mainstream / reputable girls with supposedly stellar reviews and posing on the other big boards. Surprised the s#t out of me but that's what was happening here in little old Columbia. And to top it off, I got stood up a few years ago by one of Columbia's finest 3 times (back to back to back) until I got to the point and said F#see% it and moved on. She was not worth that many calls but I wanted to see what the rave was about. And it wasn't for the lack of doing my homework and performing my own personal screening before deciding to call these supposedly young ladies, they came recommended but I guess they felt I was not worth the visit or a simple phone call or text. Most recently, a little over a year ago, the same thing happened with a petite little visiting hottle who was recommended by another hobbyist from another board. Set up 3 different appointments and she failed to appear every time but always gave some lame ass excuses a few days after the missed meeting. Not worth the effort so I stopped calling. And the list in Columbia grew, even with pre-booked arrangements with so-called mainstream girls who lived here.

Contrary to the number of reviews I have here, I really don't hobby in Columbia that much, with a very special exception. But that exception ALWAYS comes through for me.

So, when it comes to new girls posting in Columbia and they have no reviews or little history on the web, be prepared with a workable backup plan. I know it's tempted after seeing the revealing pics of some of these little hotties and the urge to TOFTT with a few of them. And the likelihood of making a connection with one or 2 of them may seem good. But the reality is it's a big risk. This HOBBY is a risk. It's all a matter of how much bulls#t and risk you're willing to put up with in order to get to that special treat.

I personally have lowered my limit of risk in Columbia. But much of that decision is more personal than hobby related.

I have spent time with some of the girls I've known & became more friendly than just a splash & leave. & for every 4 or 5 or 10 calls they have for appointments, maybe one shows up!

I get majorly pissed when I'm the one driving my azz to a spot & then they don't answer the phone. But I guess if I was running a bakery & 10 people called ordering doughnuts, but only one shows up I'd be catering to that person's business.

That's why I try to give repeat business to the proven performers while also trying to sample the new flavors as well. A few bad reviews (ONE from ME) is usually enough to end a sub-par provider's career or severely slow their business to a near stand-still. At the very least, they'll have to get a new phone # & change their name & ads, move on to a new city, etc.

We need more people to review these slugs so the cream will rise to the top.

Like HEx, I've hobbied all over the country. I don't travel as much anymore, but I used to be all over the place. It really is true that Columbia is comparatively terrible when it comes to hobbying. It's not the worst place, but it's pretty bad. First of all, the selection of women is simply not very good. If you are into overweight black, ghetto women, then it might be hog heaven for you. That's just not my thing. It seems like there are a handful of decent providers in Columbia, and they almost all end up leaving eventually. The traveling girls can be decent, on occasion, but I cannot tell you how many complaints I have heard about Columbia guys and how awful they are and how the girls will never return to Columbia. I'm obviously on the other side of the transaction, so what do I know, but I've heard it so many times that there must be some merit to the belief that Columbia has some bad customers.

Second, Columbia has some of the worst AMPs in the country. Again, if you want an uninspired HJ from an old Korean woman, then Columbia is the ticket. If you like hot, young Asian girls, then you need to look elsewhere. Of course, the size of the city has some effect on the AMP situation, and Columbia is never going to be an Atlanta, LA or Houston. But for the most part, Providers here are nice and courteous. I have a Regular Provider which I Adore. Looks are Decent and her Skills are off the charts. So I guess living in a major city tend to have a better selection of Providers and Providers that are polite and courteous.
