Lucky's either reopened recently or yet to.

Yes
Since this is Vernon, I'm wondering if Tuna meant the former kahoots 2 in this town? It later became Lucky's and had another name previous to that.
Yes I meant Vernon. Went by it today and did notice the Lucky's sign. They are doing some remodeling there but I'm not sure if it will be a strip club.

Lucky's will be reopening any weekend now. Same owner as before (Hollywood and Rockstar). Completely remodeled. With how trash MG, Minx and EB have been; there's a real chance for this to be special. Hopefully the owner doesn't fuck it up.

Rude Doorman
EB.
Such a rude douchebag at the door! The white guy. A couple girls talking to him seemed visibly annoyed. Stage didn't seem to be used. Benches in the lap dance area are way too uncomfortable. F this place. No wonder its dead. Who needs the door man acting all rude and condescending. Damn shame about this place. Used to be ok.
-
One can only hope.
Yeah. It would be nice to have a decent option in the area. With the Blue's demise. No good options.

I walked in and he didn't even ask me for I'd or pat down or anything.
Saw a Dominican girl with huge tits. We talked and asked for 4 all in. I was a little drunk so I said yes. There were no other viable options honestly. Good service but at the end of the day way too expensive.

Occasionally tries to charge a cover when they have no dancers on stage or even out of the dressing rooms. Fuck that. I walk everytime that happens. Usually on a Friday afternoon.
As far as $400, yes you severely overpaid, but hey, you can't take it with you. 😂.
Luckys is reopened. I have not visited, so not sure how "lucky" is the new luckys.
I doubt Lucky's will be much different if it is the same owners. It never was an extras club. Neither is Hollywood in Southington which I have visited a couple of times. I have never been to Rockstar in Wolcott. Lucky's and Hollywood are both very "by the book" type clubs with cameras everywhere. Good looking girls but that is about it. The only benefit to me is that Lucky's is less than 10 min from my house. Even for as crappy as EB has bee, it is 15 min from my house and miles better that Lucky's ever was.
I have more fun now at Mardi Gras 2 in East Windsor, as far as clubs that are not in Bridgeport go. Although that is only because I found one diamond in the rough there who is good fun in the back and stretches the rules for what that club is known for. I have to travel to Bridgeport or Marios in Webster, MA to have a chance at real fun lately.

Reminds me of another old saying: If it flies, fucks or floats, it's cheaper to rent. I had a plane for 12 years instead of belonging to a club. It's an old saying for a reason.
It's his choice to work there. If he can't deal with the job? Is his problem. Treat him like a doorman because he is a doorman.
I'm also confused about tipping the doorman. That's like tipping a bouncer at a club. Paying customers tip the bartender for providing service. Then we pay the dancers for their service. The doorman is not there to provide us service. He is being directly compensated by the club to provide THEM a service. The only expectation is that we treat him with respect and he returns that respect.
I understand doorguys being tough with customers who act tough. But why just act like an ass for no reason? Perfect example, I go to the Blue often enough. I don't take their familiarity of me for granted. I always stop at the doorman with my ID in hand. One of the doorguys got an attitude with me and said "I've seen your face a hundred times. Just go". His tone was rude as fuck. As if I was supposed to assume I get special treatment and I shouldve just walked past him or something? I showed my respect by stopping and following club procedures. He acted like an ass for no reason.

Counterpoint
Stopped in EB on Saturday evening and had a surprisingly good time. The place was dead (I was surprised when I tried the door and it opened.) No cover, and the black guy at the door was fine. Should have tipped him, LOL.
Probably about 6 dancers there but fewer gents and the talent was decent. 2nd approach was from Carla (MILFy Brazilian lifer) and I agreed to a champagne room for 2 plus 1.2 to the house. Time spent was good, though safe.
I now see the place as a Bridgeport club without the drive and sketchiness, with nicer rooms and a heavy premium for these perks. When on a budget I wouldn't bother. But it still has its place, considering the options in the area. My 2 cents.
It's his choice to work there. If he can't deal with the job? Is his problem. Treat him like a doorman because he is a doorman.
No disagreement there. Do what makes sense to you. I, like many here, bear witness to years of good tail, extra priviledge and illicit afterhour fun from making friends in low places. Between intel, info, or str8 up hookups, especially at the old Blue. Its changed. I get it. So I won't convince you.
Not every doorman is just a doorman. Sometimes times you ask the waitress what's best to order for your meal. Because she has tasted the menu.
Hang for a while and just observe. Strike a convo, show interest. That $5 might save you a $100, or a wasted night seeking out take out.
Check this guy. He made a better argument than i can make:

I don't mind the doorman at EB, always treated me ok.
I have seen him and Jimmy clean out some riff raff one night it was pretty funny, dragged a guy out by his heels to the parking lot.

Now I'm curious. I had a good time with her in ld area, heck, maybe 4 years back?
Funny that you mentioned Selena too, I meant to earlier but forgot. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I always enjoyed my time with her.

For the total of 320 that you dropped, what were the activities? How much time in back?

Adrianna from the blue
Anyone know what happened to Adrianna from the blue? She was a curvy Brazilian, but had no accent. Very cute, nice, but a bit of GPS. Regardless I liked my time in the back with her. I heard somewhere she worked the door at the Foxy Lady in Providence, but could just be a rumor. Would love to get back in touch with her if anyone has seen her.

What to expect
So, I haven't been in to the blue in ages. What should I expect?
I could always go in, get a beer, scope out the scene find a girl, go to the lap dance room and bust a nut all for under $100 (including the beer).

Could be

A lot of the Brazilians there have handbags, so could be. She's older with dark long hair, slight accent usually approaches you by grabbing your dick right away. Again for a 60 year old her body and face is real good, let's just say I hope my wife has her body quality at that advanced age.

Many are upselling to the CR for more fun activities. LD room fun is still available depending on the girl, but many new faces last time I went so it's more of a gamble.

Walk in to a nearly empty place that is far too lit and not one dancer on stage. Sometimes there is a middle aged woman offering back massages and smelling like rotten grey goose. Take a seat at the bar and get an overpriced drink at the bar by the 80 year old crypt keeper tending bar. Every so often there will be a large breasted brazilian woman who must be pushing 50 who will grab your crotch and immediately ask you if you want to "come have some fun". The LD area is the same as it ever was and private back room is insanely expensive these days. I think I was quoted 4 xx for 15 minutes but I could be mistaken. Everything is fairly negotiable there so I guess take your chances. It will feel rushed and the high cost menu for low quality talent must pay for all their braces they've been getting lately.
