GARDEN GROVE, Calif. — Bare-breasted baristas will have to cover up after police officers discovered nudity and illegal gambling going on at so-called lingerie cafes in a Southern California suburb.

More than three dozen of the coffeehouses are operating in the Orange County city of Garden Grove, and some waitresses have been slipping out of teddies to serve customers in the nude. Additionally, arcade machines have been rigged to be gambling machines.

The Orange County Register reports Wednesday that the City Council has voted 4-0 to ban nudity, gambling and smoking in the sexy cafes.

Police Chief Kevin Raney told the council his officers have raided 20 coffeehouses and confiscated 200 gambling machines. The chief says nude waitresses were also encountered, and the lingerie cafes have attracted gangs.[/quote]

[/QUOTE]I was there Friday night around the same hours and it was exactly the way you described it. I was there with a group for my son and a friends birthday. I think I prefer to go alone I guess you are more easily approached when you are alone. Anyway talked to Summer for awhile, but only ended up getting 1 10 dollar dance from Kimmy didn't even want a 2nd dance pretty boring. I do think you will be happier during day shift, although the variety is not that good the daytime mileage is pretty good even on the bench. My friend ended up in the cheaper VIP area although I never found out exactly what happened Iam pretty sure he was properly taken care of.

As far as the drink ladies I guess after awhile I can just block them out. The no thanks just becomes automatic. Now last week I was at Paradise in COI I was talking to the same girl and over a 20 minute period the drink lady came by 5 times, now that was annoying.
