Yes, you should just pay out the $25 and get released.

Yes, you will probably question if paying the $25 was ever worth it. Even if you end up getting a date or a few, or even getting a response or few, they of course aren't guaranteed successes.

The nice benefit is that you start off with PM released for a good period. It's also possible you get enough fx points that you can renew your PM privileges a few times. Without PM enabled, the account is fairly useless. The only chance you have is if a provider you're interested in puts her contact number in her ad or profile.
