The "off my person and out of my control" aspect of getting naked with someone I don't know well or at all is alone enough of a reason to not carry into a hobby situation. Second is to be able to defend yourself in the absence of a firearm. I cannot express how bad an idea it is to think that a firearm is for protecting you while you are (technically) committing a crime. If shit goes sideways, there is no way out of your horrible end; either financial and social ruin, jail, or death. It's that simple.
