A2 set me straight & I've been a good senior member ever since. Here's the skinny. The site is fueled by advertising dollars from sponsors. The revenue is a function of all SMS, RMs & especially lurkers who just pop in to read the posts, for info, to act on, or even curiosity. That's why you are 100% correct, eyeballs pay the bills & allow us from benefiting from the site & forums.

Don't make the mistake I did by being ignorant of the business model (not smart! & not ever having a chance to go back to my old status of not having my posts approved before being posted.

When A2 spelled it out it all made perfect business sense. I got a temporary sanction first in the Wilmington, NC board, then a permanent one here. I wish the Wilmington Admin had explained it to me as well as A2 did here, several months ago. Maybe someday he will see fit to pardons my ignorance & restore my old status.

Very rarely can I get pics to post on here. I go to the right area, then go to my pics on my I-Phone 11, it populates on the link, then I hit post & 99% of the time get a error message. What's the trick. I see guys posting pics all the time?

But unlike some others who got offended by having their posts monitored, I could care less. I just post much less here, that's all.

This isn't my life and hence does not bother me.
