When I said "trade one case for another", I meant with different parties involved, not both parties being the same. In my post, I was referring to Kraft dropping his suit and the State then dropping charges against all defendants, not just against Kraft. Depending on the facts specific to that scenario, it likely would not be unethical for the State to drop criminal charges in exchange for that same defendant dropping a civil lawsuit.
For cops to install hidden cameras in a place of residence or business is completely illegal! So this case is going to go away! The Patriot act law was to capture terrorist not spy on horny men trying to have fun at a massage parlour or capture drug dealers or misdemeanor crimes and etc. LOL. Good thing a very rich man was involved, cause they've been getting away with this for the past 15 years!

I do however remember hearing in the last few weeks that prosecuters are ready to let this whole thing go and are looking to save face and wallet.
