Took the plunge myself to see if the night shift is the same as the day time. It is but they try to up the price to ridiculous amounts. Got there around 7:00 on Thursday. Grab a few drinks and some ones. Got approached by a day shift girl on her last rounds.
Side note: the black lights in there will let you know who's been "active" as the residue from the baby wipes LIT UP once she got closer. I'm not a sloppy seconds fan and therefore passed on anything with her.
It was funny tho. But anyways, got two couch dances that came to $30 (bad start). Later got a couple of dances from a smoking hot chick who offered the VIP at $350. I almost laughed her out the room. She replied with "yeah. You're used to the day shift girls. " I replied with "yes I am" and left.

Decided to try Riley's to see if the monger that raved about was accurate. In a one word answer, no! In a 2 word answer, hell no! I wanted to give this place a very fair opportunity to prove it to be worthwhile, but this was probably one of the worst clubs I've ever been to. It might have it's better days, today was not one of those days. A total of maybe 6 dancers, only about 3 took rotations to dance and in-between them the dj just played songs. I was there for about 3-4 hours and for the last hour I was there (left at 12) there wasn't a single dancer on rotation. I did have my eye on a few dancers, 1 of which never danced on stage, and another that got on the small stage by the dj booth and barely moved. But I thought she was really cute and I didn't get a chance to tip her because another dancer came to sit with me for a few songs. Later, on my way back to my table from getting another beer at the bar, the one that I had wanted to tip was on the other side of the bar so I walked up to her and gave her a tip explaining I missed her rotation. You would have thought that might trigger some interest to come say hi to me but she never once roamed the floor. I was going to wait for her next rotation but she never got stage for the rest of the time I was there although others went several times. If the dancer that I tipped happens by chance to see this post, please pm me. (1 in a million chance, I know). I'd love to find out your schedule and come back for a few dances or VIP. She spent most of her time with a customer at a table of about 5 others. Another dancer got "bored" and decided to get up on that little stage even though she wasn't called to dance. I tipped her quite a few times over the 8 or 9 songs she danced. You also would have thought that would have been enough to trigger a dancer to come say hi. I read the story on 11 Alives website, immediately thought about guys parking across the street or in the places close by and walking over with cash in their pockets. The story never said if that's what happened, but I wouldn't be surprised. The folks walking in that area that live there wouldn't make good robbery victims, if they are going after cash.

I had a rare Saturday night / Sunday morning free of domestic obligations, so I decided to seize the opportunity to explore a couple of the alternate / afterhours / underground clubs that are occasionally mentioned here.
It's been years since I've visited a "strip club" in Atlanta late on a Saturday night. These days when I go, it usually during the afternoon, or early evening and usually on a weekday. During my much younger less experienced days, I actually enjoyed the crowded high energy hip-hop party atmosphere. Though I still love a good party, I definitely DO NOT miss the overpriced parking, high cover charges, overzealous militant security guards or the London Fog of tobacco and marijuana smoke that reeks in these places, especially at night!
Rather than visit a traditional strip club, I decided to visit two alternatives: Blue Ivory and Déjà vu 2.
Full reports to follow, but in summary, I'm giving Blue Ivory a thumbs down for adult entertainment in general (along with a strong maybe for picking up civilians). I give Déjà vu 2 a thumbs up for low budget after hours lap dances with the possibility for extracurricular fun and OTC options.

I visited Blue Ivory recently. My report is below:
Synopsis:
Rather than adult entertainment, I believe Blue Ivory to be more of a night club that happens to have an area with "go-go" dancers. It seems like a place to visit to pick up "civilians" rather than to have fun with a stripper. It might also be a good place to take a girlfriend / date who likes looking at pretty / scantily clad women, but who might NOT like the full blown strip club atmosphere.
Overall, several of the dancers and many of the female customers were good looking. In the lounge area in particular, lots of the female customers were dressed to impress and appeared to be single.
I went with the wrong mindset and was disappointed. I'm not trying to pay $10 for a fully clothed air dance no matter how good looking the dancer is and especially not when there appears to be no path for more fun. Follies and Wax must have me spoiled! I wouldn't be surprised if some guys luck up and get action and / or OTC at Blue Ivory, but I just didn't get that vibe during my relatively short visit.
• Parking and cover charges will set you back between $40 to $100 depending on where you park and what the cover charge is that night. I paid $20 to park and $20 to enter.
• The club features a restaurant, a lounge, and a "strip club".
• Dances are $10. The dancer's clothes stay on. I observed minimal, if any, contact between the dancers and the patrons I. E. "air-dances.
• Paid $7 for Coronas and $10 for Patron plus tips (of course).
If you know more about Blue Ivory and can tell me what I missed, I'd love to hear about your experience there. This was my first time and based on my experience, I'm not likely to return anytime soon.
Detailed report:
I had no idea what to expect here. I'd never spoken to anyone who had been. Info on this board was sparse and online reviews talked more about the restaurant and the lounge with minimal mention of dancers.
I went sole and arrived at midnight, which in hindsight is too early for an all night club. The parking situation was a bit crazy. The club itself has a parking lot, but prices weren't posted. There is limited street parking, which was all taken and a few of private parking lots with aggressive attendants to encourage you to park with them. After driving by serval times, I learned that the private lots charge $20. If I recall, the club's lot wanted $60 to valet, $40 to self-park in one area and $20 to self-park in the back. (You already know that I took the $20 option).
The club looked small from the outside, but was actually much larger (two stories) inside. The main entrance leaves you in the restaurant area. There was no charge to enter this area. It is well lit and nicely appointed with white furnishings. I asked a bartender about the place and she told me there are two other areas. A lounge and down stairs "strip club" that is accessible from the lounge. A $20 cover and a pat down, gets you access to the lounge. Another nicely decorated area of decent size also with white furniture, a bar or two and a DJ. A short walk and a flight of stairs lead me down to the "strip" club. I put strip in quotes because apparently, no actual stripping takes place.
The strip club is a long rectangular room with roped off couches and tables lining the two long sides. I learned that the couches are reserved for those purchasing bottle service. Small circular stages with stripper poles run down the center of the room. There is a bar at one end of the room with a few stools, but other than the couches, seating is very limited. There is an elevated stage at the opposite end. I saw an upper area labeled VIP, but did not inquire about it nor did I see anyone enter it during my time here.
It was about 12:30 am before I was situated at the bar. There were about 10 to 12 patrons and about 6 dancers at that time. After about an hour, the placed started to fill up. I left a little after 2:00 am and strip area was pretty full, but not jam packed. Dancers were continuously arriving as the night went on. There was a decent dancer to customer ratio.
On the plus side, some of the dancers there are very good looking with really nice shapely bodies. Like anywhere, a few less desirable ones always seem to get into the mix as well. We all have differing tastes. Most were minimally dressed in sheer or net body suits, thong bottoms, bikinis, etc. I did not see any "pasties" so you could see some of the dancer's nipples clearly through their tops. There are also plenty of minimally covered ass cheeks.
Two different dancers quoted me $10 per dance. There were definitely some girls there that I would have liked to have had fun with but from what I could tell, there was no fun to be had other than watching them dance at a distance with their clothes on. . I saw many guys doing the "hip hop music video thing", dropping lots of dollar bills on and around the dancers but wasn't sure if that was her dance fee or just extra tips. Ten dollar fully clothed air dances are no my idea of a fun time at a strip club. Granted that the average girl may not be as nice looking, but at least at a clubs like Wax and Deja Vu, the dancers give full contact dances for only $5. Both places also provide options for extracurricular activity and even OTC.
I had a couple of drinks and even bought a drink for a dancer that I had been chatting with for a while trying to learn about the club. She did not offer any great insight. I also walked around a bit to see if any action was taking place on the couches or in the corners. I didn't see much of anything going on Finally, I spent some time tipping one of the best looking dancers there while she was dancing on stage and then decided it was time to leave.
The crowd was predominately, if not completely, African American. The age range spanned from barely legal (I assume everyone was at least 21) to geriatric. I saw one guy there wearing an oxygen cannula and another using a cane. There was also a very high concentration of female customers in the strip club area as well; more than I typically see at these types of places. Interestingly, the lounge area appeared to consist primarily of single female customers. I did see some men and some couples, but also lots women in groups without any male companions. Had I been hunting for civilians, this may would have been a target rich environment.
Overall it was a disappointing and in my option, an overpriced experience. Like anywhere, I'm sure it's possible to get lucky at Blue Ivory (either ITC or OTC), but I just did not get that vibe here at all. YMMV, but if I missed something I'd love to hear the experience that others have had a Blue Ivory.

Deja Vu 2.
Since much has been reported about Deja Vu 2, I'll try to stick to the basics. I miss the old original Deja Vu that was on Joseph E. Boone. It was full nude and had a VIP before it was raided and shut down. I only got to visit once before it closed, but I had a blast.
I have been to the"new" Deja Vu 2 (on Campellton) only twice (due to the late hours of operation). It reminds me a bit of Club Wax, with $5 full contact bikini dances, but without the VIP option. In most cases full hand roaming is also allowed. Despite not having a "VIP" area, it's pretty clear that extras can be had here out in the open with some of these dancers. I've had it offered twice, but declined each time.
I did not notice this on my previous visit, but this time, I noticed that the girls all seemed to have pasties covering their nipples. What a shame!
I arrived at about 2:30 am after leaving Blue Ivory. Parking options were $20 in the "Front" and $10 in the "Back", so for me, "The Back" it was! Cover was $20 after 2:00 am (it was $10 before 2:00). I was told that they open at 11:00 pm. There was a short line to get in, but it moved fast. There was a crowd, but the place was not packed. Ample seating was available, but "premium seats" in the dark areas of the club were somewhat limited.
When I arrived there was no stage show going, but one started up at around 3:00 am. It was nothing to write home about. I had dances from three different girls. The first was short dark chocolate girl with a petite, yet curvy frame. (I don't remember her name). She did not have the most attractive face, but her skin was firm and smooth. It felt amazing. She led me to a dark corner and we sat down for the dances. She gave great dances with lots of good contact. She had no problems with me touching anywhere over her bikini (I did not try going under). I should have asked for her number, because she seemed like a lot of fun. Perhaps on a future visit.
Second dancer was medium height, medium build, light skinned with a blond wig. She looked good, but her dances were terrible. I had a feeling things were going to be bad when she started dancing two-thirds through the song that was already playing when we started talking. All she did was bend over two feet in front of me and wiggle her butt. No contact. I asked her wait until the next song and turned around and gave me a funky look. (BAD START). On the next song, it was again the same air dance, but I did reach out and play with her ass some. She didn't object, but didn't get any closer. Over the course of the next couple of songs, she sat on my lap twice for about ten seconds each song. After the second song, I told her to stop and gave her $10. Of course, she claims she danced for three songs. I simply shook my head in disgust and gave her another $5 rather than argue. She clearly needed it more than I did It's only $5, but some of these chicks are truly pathetic.
I ended the night (or rather morning) at about 4:30 after dancing with another chocolate drop. This one taller with a prettier face but less shapely body than the first. She found a nice spot for us and we went to the races. Sadly her body and skin were not as firm and smooth as the first, but she gave a great effort complete with moans and kisses on my cheek and ears. Feeling emboldened by her moans and kisses, I did slip my hands under both her top and bottom a few times to sample the goods. This only made her moan louder. She would allow if for a few moments then discrete move my hand before too many people could take notice. After a few songs, I told her I was ready for more. She asked if I wanted more inside the club or outside. Though not above it, I simply wasn't feeling ITC action at Deju Vu with no privacy and in uncomfortable conditions. I got the digits and we agreed to set something up for later in the week, since she was not ready to leave the club just yet. We'll see how it goes. As you all know, strippers are not the most reliable about setting and keeping appointments. She did send me a nice response to my text a few hours later however.
Comparing to Blue Ivory, this is a less refined, lower budget venue. On average, the crowd appeared younger and less well dressed. There was also a bit more ethnic diversity at Deja Vu. I saw a group of three female customers that looked Caucasian. I also saw some male customers that looked Hispanic.
The setting at Deja Vu is dark and rustic. There's no fancy lighting nor any white couches like at Blue Ivory. This place exists purely for patrons to interact with dancers, buy drinks, smoke and perhaps play pool. I saw a sign advertising food for sale, but I didn't see anyone eating while I was there. The tobacco and marijuana smell was intense. Smoke is one of my least favorite things about all strip clubs. Lastly, this place would benefit greatly from the addition of some private VIP areas, however, given the fact that they've been busted and shut down once previously, I doubt any VIP areas are in Deja Vu's future.

Two of my favorite strippers ever came from Riley's. Always passed up trying it and your report makes me feel I'm not missing much. DJV2 I have been but not recently and actually passed up on it simply due to the overpowering weed / smoke. Went to Eye Candy instead, and while it wasn't bad it wasn't great either. $5 dances in there, too, but place is too open and bright.

I am in town on business and will unfortunately not have time to visit Follies during the day. I have had a blast at Follies the few times I have been able to visit early afternoon.
I am staying in the Buckhead area and Tattletales seems the closest. Is it worth an evening visit or should I venture out further to other clubs for the evening?
I understand that the daytime Follies experience is not necessarily available at other clubs in the evening but I am hopefull that there is some good mileage to be found.
