I try to give out enough information, so that someone that reads this forum regularly, can use this info to their best advantage, and try not to lead a SW into a sting or get arrested. I have quite a few providers that I like, and they very cautious. I and everyone else that started out here had to get used to talking a different language, and use terms and other words to not be so specific as to lead leo to out providers. Sunday night came back empty from 47 and Cicero. Had a car drive up to me in McDonalds parking lot, with a young black chick and her very old mom, asking for some cash for gas to get back to Rockford. I am new at this, but is that a pick up line? Here is my response to this sort of nuisance: "Hey, there is an organization that helps out people in situations like this. They will help you. It's called the Travelers Aid Society. Let me call them for you. They are contacted through the local police at 911."

Then start pulling out your cell phone to call and watch the scam artists disappear.

BTW, there REALLY is a Travelers Aid Society but I have never met a begger yet who really qualified for their help.

Remember this trick and have fun using it on sad sacks who think you are a mark.
