Then, another clean shaven guy comes out the side door and gets into an all white van in the parking lot, only to leave and pull into the restaurant on the other side of the hotel and back into a spot facing the same side door.
After all that, she sends me a bunch of garbled mess text messages, followed up by sorry, my phone is busted. To which I replied: didn't you just tell me you got a new phone? She said yeah and tried to LOL it off. She then said she needed five more minutes to change the sheets. I told her I was a bit more than freaked out at this point. She replied to just come on up to the room, then, something she had never ever done before in all the times I've seen her. I said I'm not doing that. So she said okay I'm coming down. She's always waited on me outside, rain or shine. This time she text and said: okay I'm at the door, come in.
I was so freaked out at this point I just called it off and left.
I may be 100% overreacting here, and I may have just ruined a friendship with someone I've seen for years. Given the climate of our hobby currently, and the political climate surrounding the election and all the arrests that we know are because of the election, I'm absolutely not taking any chances. I'm a professional and this would ruin my life.
Likely being completely paranoid, but that was just too many coincidences for me to not take notice.
