I have a somewhat unique car with a unique color, so it's easier for cops to identify my vehicle. For that reason, I try to limit how many times I pass by certain areas in a short amount of time. I also have multiple dash cams and a GoPro in my car, so if I do get stopped, I'll just tell them I'm documenting prostitution in the area for my YouTube channel.

I see the ladies on the corners all the time with cops passing by. The cops don't really care and know what's going on. I think they only pull over customers when they are talking to the girls. If the response is "We saw you drive by 4-5 times" ask what statute that is in violation of and reiterate that you need to know if you are being detained or free to go. I'm posting out of curiosity only since I never pick up SWs in the USA and due to health issues, I've been mostly out of the game entirely for several years.
I often visit a friend who lives on the ass end of East Hollywood near the location in the title. I leave her house between 9:30 PM and 1:30 AM to head home. I'm not looking for anything and I've never noticed any SWs along SMB between Normandie and Edgemont. But a couple of months ago I was stopped at the light at Edgemont at 11:30, and a tall, very slim female (so it seemed) was flamboyantly strolling back and forth across the intersection wearing only the skimpiest thong. Clearly topless and sporting a healthy pair of what were likely man mades, and she was also lowering the thong when she saw she had a driver's attention, but not low enough for me to settle the mystery. I continued on my way when the light changed, but turned around at the next corner to return to Edgemont for more study. I parked at the 7 Eleven and watched as she continued to put on shows in the middle of the intersection. I had assumed that she was trans because in 40 years of living and driving around Hollywood, I'd never seen or heard of a genuine female selling service anywhere along SMB. There was nothing masculine from her neck to her toes. Super slim and in shape like a young fashion model. It was too dark for me to get a good enough look at her face to see if there were masculine facial features. After a few minutes, she was picked up.
Since that night I've been back through there about 10 more times. I've observed SWs on most of these drives. A growing number and last night at 12:30-1 AM those 3-4 blocks were populated by at least 7 SWs that I was aware of. A wide variety of looks and presentation. All Latina or White and most displaying butt and legs, but were mostly covered north of the waist. There was one enticing exception -- leaving the area driving north on Edgemont toward Fountain, a completely adorable young latina jumped out of the back seat of a double parked car completely naked from the waste down, and ran across the dark street into an apartment building with a big smile on her face. So I clearly made her out as a female. I thought one that I observed in the 7 Eleven was very likely male since he was hiding the front of a bikini bottom with a bag hanging from the waist. Unlike the others, the hips and butt were more masculine.
Anyway, I'm just curious if any of the vets can post of PM if this has been a recognized stroll for any length of time and is it possible that most of these SWs are actually naturally born ladies? BTW, none of them were even slightly nervous when a couple of LE units drove by. Considering all the circumstances, this couldn't have been a sting operation and I saw a few of these SWs jump into cars with players. At least a few, including the cute bottomless latina, were staging out of residences on Edgemont.

Got off and saw this cute and shy woman kind of hanging around at 2 in the morning and my mind still hadn't made the connection. Walking around it dawned on me, "oh, these are ladies of the night, ahem, ladies".
Normandie to Vermont is "ladies", ladies with a johnson instead of a taco.
