So, in the example of $.20 or 120, the 120 is shorter and much easier to read. I never understood the reason for this $ thing ever, and not sure why people use it. It's not shorter, it's not hiding anything, and it just creates confusion.

So its kinda like a drug dealer saying on the phone "The package will arrive today" and he has a book which says "package means shipment of heroin". So its not much of code. So might as well spell it out. Its all hearsay anyway. You can just say you were kidding. You actually got a legit massage and just wanted to impress some anonymous mongers on this site. Or just use the terms benjamins and hamilltons.
