A lot of these ladies get cold feet when it's time to actually get down to details, or plan a date. Or show up for a date. One college POT would regularly disappear as soon as I mentioned a M&G. I think the question I have has been touched on before, but not asked directly. So here goes. I frequently am able to track down SB's real info based on their profiles. Often because I am not a member of the particular site they are on, and to see if they are for real. Has anyone who has ever done found a SB's real info ever successfully reached out to a POT though means other than the actual SD websites? If you aren't friends with them on FB, they mostly won't see your messages if you sent one. And honestly I think it might creep them out. There is even a pro who was on a SD site, who it turns out was going to other cities to escort but not doing it here at home. It's obvious she was keeping her professional activities in other cities a secret here, but at the same time, DID have a SB ad here locally. Also, I know what her rate was, and obviously with no agency cut, if I could arrange it, I should be able to get a good deal, but not sure how to reach out.

Last week was such a disappointment I trying to focus and narrow the field a little.

I am living proof of this. I am clear that I am looking for a sex partner for only indoor activities. It is tough sledding. I am tired of the BS and can't take the Pots out to wine and dine due to my lock down situation. I have encountered several issues in the new signups this past 3 months.

A MILF makes her first post. Other guys on the site rush in with the $200 per night offer.
At this point, the typical single mom, or wife of a couple in financial difficulties will be shocked. Sure, they get the idea of having to put out for financial assistance. However, in my target demographic, with a certain sort of innocence. (Maybe not had sex with anyone other than the husband for years), there is shock, because the initial flood of $ for sex makes it look like hooker central to their way of looking at things. Usually, this target demographic goes dark after a day or two.
I then message them, say Hi, how's it going? I ask if they have met any nice people. Then I say that there are plenty of really nice women here, with amazing things to say.
I then say that I have been a SD for years, and that the women I have met for this all say that while some men are great, there are also plenty who offer $150 per night (yes, less than $200). I then joke that this is only fair because we guys get similar offers from professional ladies. But I avoid them, preferring to meet with a better class of woman.
I then offer to chat with no obligation and share some of the experiences of the women I have been with in relation to scammers out there.
At this point, if I have timed it correctly, they have been torn between leaving the site, and the need to pay bills. Someone who sounds half decent has a chance at this point. I usually warn them against guys offering above the going rate, since who pays higher than the going rate for anything? I also drop little gems into the following conversations about everything being on the menu, lots more women than men, intimacy is a given if money is involved.
A key, crucial point is that I always use the third person form of address whenever anything critical comes up. I might say something like "The first sugar baby said that she was offered $150 for an overnight session, including some weird stuff, but she was able to negotiate it up to $200 and not be quite so extreme". That way, it's like you are telling them a story, and satisfying their curiosity, rather than pitching them a line. It try to hit the sweet spot between the initial bombardment, and them pulling the plug. It is a bit more complicated, that is true.
However, that very reaction they have to the direct approach, generally means that they have not been sleeping around. Either married still or recently divorced. That I get from their responses. Then it's much less risky to give them the cream pie, and with the married ones, I don't even have to ask indelicate questions about contraception.

So for example, my December was exhausting, whileJanuary seems to be less than spectacular. I'll update at the end of the month with a full report, but as a synopsis SBs 1, 3, and 4, have gone dark or are no longer in the rotation. SB 1 was looking for something I wasn't able to give her, SB 3 was too flaky and then wanted an increase in her allowance, and SB 4 apparently got freaked out when I tore down my old profile.
In December I was turning girls away, this month is nothing but GPS. About the GPS epidemic.
There was a recent discussion on the SA blog, in which the women were expressing horror about the rash of other women discounting down to as low as $500 the meet. There was a bit of a booster session on keeping up the standards before it petered out to the usual generic crap.
Most of these women are educated and well off. Sugaring for them, is to buy the expensive luxuries. So the $1000 price point AND they are doing us a favour makes sense to them. I see where they are coming from.
However, there are plenty of women out there working in low paid dreary jobs, unemployed, in debt, who didn't have the luck of being born in well off families. For someone with an empty fridge, with the fridge magnet stuffed full of overdue bills, the rent due in a couple of days, and no money in the bank, well their reality is that if they can get $200 overnight, it is a god send. And they are truly grateful.
Many in that situation are quite smart, but never having had rich parents, find the daily grind and bleak prospects really depressing.
So, which of those two groups would I rather help?
Again, it is pretty cyclical, but I normally aim first for those in low paid or shitty jobs, and ignore the others. It's just that sometimes my target demographic isn't there. But when that happens, I never bother with the other rich kid profiles.

Right while I was posting this reply I started talking to this one. I just googled her head shot and just the "name" part of her handle and voila. My SB is no longer teetering into Nando-1 like she was really early on (in fact I didn't really know how bad it was until recently). And I think I'm justified in taking some of the credit for stabilizing her situation, both from a personal support as well as financial perspective. Which is very rewarding.
In my specific situation, your last sentence is dead-on. She's quite smart, and is working hard to recover from her earlier educational blunders. Which were mostly a product of circumstance, and were she in a more supportive family environment she likely would have fared much better. So for now she's in a dead-end service job but also going to school, and it would be a huge blow for her to lose the hope of something better than the track she was on 18 mos ago.

Since start I have been excited about SugarDaddy approach and intrigued by the idea of providing 'emotional'sexual'financial'physical' support (saw this somewhere on earlier posts). I agree 100% on your assessment of the SA blog. I am retired at 62, and sometimes bored. So, bullseye!
The discussions start off on topic for a few posts, then descend into drivel. Every time.
However, they do reflect what a considerable number of pots think. GPS pots.
So why bother to read?
Simply because of curiosity initially, and after a while, being able to look at a profile, and brush it aside if I see the key words and phrases being used. Looking at the SA blog, for me, is just a bit of background research.
So, some time wasted looking at the blog, but less time wasted talking to pots and then finding out they are GPS.

You raise a good question about APPs -- you are correct, they are notorious for sweeping up a lod of information from your contacts if you let them, location data etc, and sending them BACK to the APP provider.
I am not sure that I would want SA to know all about my locations and real friends!
It begs the question about is it time to have burner smart phones?
