Why attend a 2 year JC program taught by someone in a language that is foreign to her in order to work in an office or medical associate job that may pay only half as much. Most massage schools have instructors that speak their native language.
Many shop owners require a CAMTC CMT certificate to be hired. Legit and especially not so legit shops need certificates in order to satisfy code inspectors when they pay a visit.
Now, getting a legitimate CMT certificate is another thing. But, that's another story.
