It was based on 1968 American comedy film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau as two divorced men, neurotic neat-freak Felix Ungar and fun-loving slob Oscar Madison, who decide to live together. The TV show had Tony Randall as Felix Unger. These two are constantly battling with comedic results.

Its funny to think of Felix Unger mongering and seeing a bathroom which is actually clean and yet it not being clean enough. Meanwhile most of the monger are like the other guy and don't give two hoots about doing some intimate things with professionals.

Perhaps someone can make a movie about a modern day version of this with a mongering theme.
