Was cruising on Nebraska doing a quick run on the way home. Came across (literally) KJ by the gasstation on the corner of Neb and Fowler. Nice WSW, early 20's if not late teens. She was really cautious and wanted me to buy her a beer before anything. She worth the extra effort so I ran in, got one and we hopped in my car and took off. On my way home from work I always go down 140th, just to see if there is anything worth while there. Tonight when I went down, first I see a guy and girl standing right by the tracks. The girl gives me the look, waves, she seemed okay, however the dude next to her looks like he just got out of prision and is ready to kill someone. Sure I"m going to pick that one up.

Not more then about 45 feet futher down the road, is a long legged girl walking along, wearing a long black dress. She smiled at me, but directly across from her, on the other side of the street is some black dude yelling and pointing directly at her. Geee. I wonder what's going on there.

I go down another 50 feet or so, and there is one really nice looking girl just walking, gives me the look, waves smiles and everything. However, she almost looked too good. She seemed in perfect shape and everything in the right place. I have never picked up an undercover leo before, but typically if they are too good to be true they typically are.

I have no idea what's going on through their minds when they are hanging out there, but it's getting werid. I"m still waiting to see that woman standing out there with the video camera. She probably had her son or someone steal (coughing) I mean borrow a video camera and trying to figure out how to turn the dam thing on. She is also probably trying to figure out where the 8 track cassette goes.

I'm visiting tampa this weekend. Would it be ill advised to park at a store or gas station and walk if talent is found rather than driving up?

The neighborhoods you are trolling in, be it Tampa, or wherever, are just not pedestrian friendly, especially to strangers.

I've heard of others who've used this tactic before, and maybe it's the best strategy for a high-density environment like a large city. But wouldn't advise trying it in Tampa, and hell, I think it would probably spook most of the SW's to have a trick walk up and start negotiating, anyway.
