It's almost as if they came together to a hooker convention and decided to do these things. However, what has happened and what we are witnessing is a common phenomenon that occurs in economics. You wonder, more specifically, how they decided to increase their rates in concert. Well, it is simply an increase in demand and limited supply. They (providers) didn't have to collude or collaborate in any way. The fact that the calls have been coming in nonstop would lead even the simplest of them to conclude that this increase in demand means they can raise their prices and of course, be less available.

If they decided one day that they would only see a few clients per day, you'd actually see them even less. Even the ones you've seen several times are getting so many calls / text that they will put their so-called regulars on the backburner.
