Since the days men were crawling out of caves, we've been the providers. And throughout the ages typically the quality of our mate has been a measure of our means to provide. We've been paying for it one way or another since the dawn of time, and the girl we get is often the direct result of how much we can pay, club, or hunt.

If I think back to all my "normal" relationships I had before I was married, I was still paying for dates, gifts, and etc. Some of the normal relationships I had emotional attachments, others I didn't really. And the reason this has been a frequent issue in this particular forum is because SB relationships (in particular the long-term ones) are designed to have some kind of personal connection. It's just a much bigger issue compared to seeing escorts. Escorts are straight to business and want to have zero interaction with you outside the allotted timed. They want to know just enough about you to make sure you're not LE, then they want to know nothing more about you. By default you're treated like a "john" or "trick" in an assembly line of other donations with dicks whom come through their hotel room. And they're always on the hustle. These are indeed "garden tools" and why it's rare to have any emotional or even personal connection with these girls. One of the first things they teach in Garden Tool 101 is not to have any personal connections with "clients".
