Their angle was how folks around there don't feel the police are doing enough to curb drug / prostitution activity. Now, I'm not in the area often and am an ignoramus when it comes to drug knowledge but the cops are doing an amazing job with their presence. I passed by this morning and there were some SW's but there was no way I was taking the risk. The thing that kept me wise today was this: If I'm seeing uniformed LEO on foot, bike and cruisers, there are probably some unmarked observers as well.

They said that it is known and continues to be used for prostitution and drugs and the owners are doing nothing to stop it. It would be interesting to see their defense and if they can show that any current laws may be stopping the owners from doing anything.

Eagle 19, I had you on ignore for the longest time. Kinda wish I had left you there. You'll probably end up back there. But for now quit while you're ahead. From regaling us to stories of your Viper and success with strippers to your numerous spinner UTR's that you never share, to your recent extremely racist remarks and now in the Media thread telling us about your contacts in City Hall.
If you truly had contacts in City Hall you would know this is part of a months long, long term plan to clean up the South Side, starting with the lawsuits against Churchill. That the Churchill lawsuit was so successful they intend to use it every chance they get. That raids on drug houses and trap houses have become weekly events shutting them down as fast as they can reopen. That the newest strategy is to go into a house and demand that everyone except the actual leaseholder leave. Knowing that has had the same effect as drug raids in shutting down drug houses. That the dealers are having a tough time finding rental properties and many are working off the street, on bicycles or their cars (or stolen cars) becoming a mobile delivery service. That shutting down the traphouses has left any number of SW's in a bind with nowhere to go which as led to a resurgence of the pimp. They stay off the loop and drive 2 or 3 girls in at a time to walk for a while. That sweeps are pretty much a weekly event now.
It isn't much of leap to guess next week will be a heavy enforcement time given all the media attention, but spare us trying to look important by claiming City Hall sources, you'd have had a lot more info a lot earlier. No, I don't have sources in City Hall, I have sources all over the streets and all the info I posted has been confirmed by multiple sources.
SO according to the report on fox6 the alderman who wants to be milwaukees next mayor is going to hire a private security firm to photograph cars and send letters to the homes of the vehicles owners. Who gets to pay for this "private" security firm? Most likely the tax payer. To what end? In the hopes of outing a monger to his wife and kids? Destroying families? I don't believe a private security force is even constitutional to perform law enforcement duties. Isn't there a lawsuit coming?
