Not much I can add but if Horny the Great provides me info with the exception of a few guys, I'm taking it to the grave. The problem is most guys have BIG mouths and brag to their buddies over "their" conquests. Keep info given to yourself, if you give it to your buddy and he then tells another who tells another it spreads like wildfire. She then freaks because she's getting way too many calls all saying Horny / Gansett gave me your number and disappears.

Then there's the A-hole who attempts to negociate a non-negociable donation they were told wasn't negociable in advance.

I have had a UTR completely ruined by being naïve enough to think that my sharing some info would stay private. I went to see her about a couple of weeks later and she went hardcore on me. Turns out not only did someone I trusted give her number out but they also posted it on a now defunct review site. Luckily the only damaged caused was I lost my relationship and she had to change her phone number, but considering some of the horror stories I have heard it could have been worse.

That's the only truly safe option BUT that's not what I said either. I was just warning you about whom you do or do not share with. I myself take a whole bunch of things into account when deciding which guys I do or don't share with. The ladies preference would be a major factor as well.

As an example, in the past one lady preferred YOUNGER guys with myself as the upper limit of her age range so that limited some guys from getting referred. Some may or may not allow guys based on smoking, race, being shaved or not (yes, had that happen) or even the time of day/night available. Other guys self limit on where/when they can meet a lady.

As for horror stories? How about ONE guy (long time senior too) that when given referrals choked one girl, had no money for another and tried to swap drugs instead (after she saw him based on my referral) and showed up at a ladies house when her family was there all drunk and wanting to come in for some fun. Needless to say, most trustworthy guys know that A-holes identity and do NOT share with him.

I NEVER mention this site although many of them know of it and others. Offering a good review in exchange for a freebie or discount is what a low life does.

I always ASK if I can share her info. Some will say no. A problem comes up when I share with Tom or Dick then they go and tell Harry to say Gansett sent him. Harry is a D-bag A-hole and now in her eyes so am I. I'm Gansett here but use another name on the street, that cuts down but doesn't eliminate that problem.

You have to know and TRUST who you share info with.

I had a disturbing experience related to an UTR girl this afternoon, and as there's no one around to share with about my secret life in the hobby, I figured I would vent here and perhaps someone might benefit from my mistakes.

First, I've been in the hobby off and on for about two years, mostly with BP and AMP girls. About a year ago I ventured into UTR girls from CL. To make a convoluted story very short, I hit it off perfectly with the first girl I met (we were close in age, had all the same interests, etc.), and actually had a civilian relationship with her for several months, then broke it off when her mental health and self-medicating problems (initially well hid) became a problem. I remained a friend and she went back to an old boyfriend (someone from the wrong side of the tracks who had kind of dragged her over there to join him). Unfortunately, she never deleted our original email communications, which the bf got access to. A situation I was unaware of until she recently hit financially troubles again, contacted me for (platonic) support, just food money (I hope, ugh) to which I agreed, not realizing the bf was still in the picture and reading her communications. He called me today, furious, and threatened to go to my employers with the illicit CL emails of our original encounter from a year ago. I don't have a family but obviously want to protect my career and good name at all costs. I did my best to convince the bf over 20 minutes that the recent contact between her and me was purely innocent (which it was), but I also suspected she had misrepresented the facts to him and wondered whether she had also contacted other old clients and shown up with too much cash or otherwise done something that needed explaining. I don't know. I'm pretty sure I mollified the bf (the guy was not after money from me, fortunately, just jealous as hell and wanting answers) , but the incident left me shaking and was the single worse experience I've had since entering the hobby. It was ironic that while I'm sure many of the women I've seen have had bf's and husbands while they were providers, it was a flat-out misunderstanding that has come closest to wrecking things for me.

I'm hoping the other shoe won't drop and I'm feeling deeply foolish over how I merged the two parts of my life; though, to justify myself, you had to have seen the girl originally: very pretty, smart, college-educated, nice family. Just with a lot of hidden baggage that ended up mostly wrecking her life (and mine? I hope not).

Sounds like you used your "real" email and phone number in your pursuit of stress relief. Both big no-no's. All mongers need seperate email, like a yahoo, g-mail, hotmail etc and a untraceble Wally World like monger phone.

Big no no, if they have servers that are backed up then there are copies elsewhere.

Hope it all works out and word to others like Gansett said use another email account and don't fall for gmail tying your email accounts together.

And be leery of yahoo their servers have been hacked quite a bit recently.

There wasn't anything going on between us other than a couple flirty emails while reminiscing, but her husband managed to find them. Her husband had also been arrested for assaulting her just before this exchange and was pretty much a douchebag who kept her in her place with fear. He tried the same thing with me, saying he was going to send my emails to my family, parents (?) and whoever else knew me that would care to see them so that I'd leave her alone.

I told him to get fucked. I consulted with a cop friend of mine and they basically told me to send him something non-confrontational saying that if he contacted me or anyone in my family from this point forward, I'd have him brought up on harassment charges. I made sure to point out the fact that he was already in the system and that I was sure that would be taken into account when I made my call. Needless to say, dude left me alone, and unfortunately I had to write off an old friend in the process.

Really, all he's doing is harassing you. Going to your employer or whoever takes that to the next level. If he writes back, I'd just tell him that you've done nothing wrong and that him continually pursuing it constitutes harassment and you'll do what you need to do if he keeps it up. The first week or two afterward is going to suck (as you already know) but eventually you'll quit looking over your shoulder all the time and get back to normal. And definitely start using an alternate email address / phone from now on.
