A cautionary tale to remind my fellow mongers to keep your heads up and eyes open.
I was at the casino last night, and decided to do a cruise by the old stand by area in chi town afterwards.
I cruised around, and spotted a decent looking little lady on armitage. I pull in to a side street, and she comes up to my window, we chat, she hops in.
She turns me around back on to armitage, points out a street, and down it I go.
I make it a habit to watch what my passengers are looking at. And as we went down the side street she scanned the houses, saw a guy hanging out in a front yard, stopped scanning and said park here.
I passed up the spot she pointed at, and said whoops. I will just go down a block or so.
She turned to look out the back window, saw the dude walking down the sidewalk, and said ok.
I knew shit was going down.
I pulled over in a spot and backed up so that I could exit the spot in one move going forward.
She turns around, looks for the guy, turns back and starts bullshitting me with small talk.
I keep an eye on the mirrors, watch the guy cross in to the street 4 car lengths behind me, and he has a stick or a bar in his hand.
I had my arm on the back of the seat behind this girl. I opened my drivers door with my left hand, grabbed the scruff of her coat with the and pulled her right out of the car with me.
I reached in, grabbed her bag, and tossed it to the guy, and stood there waiting to see what would unfold.
It was anti climatic. She walked up to him, got her bag, they talked back and forth to each other and walked away. Not a single word passed between me and the guy or me and the girl after I removed her from the car.
Keep your heads up and be rady for trouble guys. Engage child locks when parked and leave yourself a way to get out in one smooth move. And do not park where they ask you to, unless you know them.
It can save your ass.
This dude is my hero. Really. Moves like this make me proud. I remember picking up one hell of a hot girl in Peoria, IL and she asked me to park close to this house. I did, and some guy comes out of the house and asks me to get out. She told me to do it. Just give him the money so we could be on our way. I said No Way. Opened her door and told her to get out. She did. And I closed the door and backed out and left. Not nearly as cool as this guy just described.
Thanks for posting.
