A deep, multifaceted issue and I know here may not necessarily be the best place, but I've been part of this community for 8 years and giving it up would be almost as hard. Participating this way might be a workable compromise.

I am not sure if this report should be here. Moaning, screaming, sighing, squealing, joyful pain, shivering ...obvious orgasm signs are really one of these things that trigger my sexual addiction. I can not get enough of it. Normally I would not see a girl who does not enjoy or enjoys without obvious signs. I've been on this forum a while (I know very few posts) and primarily take a long time to find some one safe and stick with them. I seem to have zero self control and pursue a provider whenever I feel the need.

I used to live in Orlando (really enjoyed my time there), but am back home B Malibu's general location.

Guess I don't like to admit that me and LTRs are an oxymoron.

If I am addicted then my addiction is cruising. When I first started cruising you could almost always find a hot satisfying SW on ECB. But in the past year or so I have cut back on cruising due to lack of street action in SD. Now I am lucky to find a good new SW once every 6 months. I'm interested in keeping this thread going and discussing this if you still are. I'm from the OC board as well so some of us are neighbors.

I'm not sure if that I'm addicted, or have a strong compulsion or just a hobby. I think my place to start is why I got started mongering in the first place.

The Aerosmith lyric "I was a high school loser never made it with a lady" describes me to a T. College was only slightly better, now I'm a 45 year old nerd working in the tech industry, looking like you'd expect with decent social skills but I never had and never will "have game" with the ladies. I can count on less than one hand the number of women I've had sex with that I didn't pay for.

My first monger experience was the Mustang Ranch in 1991, then various MP's across the country and mostly OC in the good old days of Hou's, Le Sun, Tiffany Tanning, Golden, etc. I didn't have a girlfriend at the time, back then I mongered mostly for the release, release by someone else instead of rosie and her five sisters, a little companionship, and the thrill of the game-a big factor. I'm wondering if that thrill is similar to someone that does have game feels when he hooks up with a civilian in a club? This was all AMPs, with a few drives on Harbor, then the one and only time I tried to pick up an SW, we got surrounded by cops in the alley (while doing the cop check) no arrests, but that scared me straight from the street scene forever.

After every AMP visit (ranging from HE all the way to greek) I would feel slightly unfulfilled, guilty that I did something "bad", a bit guilty at the money I spent, and scared nearly shitless that I caught some STD. I was always supersafe, no DFK, no BB anything, and I even hate the condom in the mouth, put it on with the mouth trick becuase of the saliva getting on my penis. I know the guilt is talked about a bit in this thread, however I can't help how I felt / feel. So I would stew for a couple weeks after the visit, beating myself up, etc. Then I'd start reading the board, and after another week or so, I'd be back at an AMP to keep the cycle going. I used to think "if I had a GF, I wouldn't need to do this".

Jumping ahead to 7 years ago, I decided to knock it off and go for an LTR, I had 2 clean STD tests in a year, got a GF and am still with her. GF is 90% the girl of my dreams, and as good as I can expect for me. K girl 10 years younger than me, the nicest person on the planet, makes all of my meals, cleans, etc, etc. The 10% is: that she doesn't have a great job, has huge credit card debt, the elevator stops a little before reaching the top, and she's just not that good in the sack. So all in all I should be at home every night thanking my lucky stars that she's with me and thanking her profusely for putting up with me.

A couple months ago I got back on the board and did a lot of reading, then thought I'd try a massage and "just see what happens", but HE only. I had a few HE, then a particular unfulfilling session at home with GF that left me sayin "fuck it, I'm going to get some from someone who knows what the fuck they're doing", then went and had FS at an AMP. It was good! I have to say, the act was good, but I think it's more the thrill of the chase of doing it all.

I didn't feel that bad at first and spent several days afterwards reading more forum. Then the guilt and the fear of STD kicked in with everything else mentioned and additional fear of guilt for "cheating" on GF, but more guilt and fear of giving her an STD and how that would go down just absolutely devastating her. But even with that guilt, I'm on the board every day, thinking I'll go out again soon, wanting to go to Tijuana and sample that, wanting to get to be a senior member to get the referral to JWA.2 weeks later my dick is still sore from the toothy BJ from that FS (and a couple lousy HJ by GF, I've been sick (yeah, just a cold, but my STD paranoia) and still trying to pick out my next place. I'm almost afraid to go BB with her for fear of giving her something.

I guess that means I'm more of a hobby and into at least compulsion, and not addiction. I'm wondering if I should stop, go to Tijuana and let it rip, or what. I think if I wasn't so paranoid about the STD shit, I would probably feel less guilty. I know there are risks in the hobby, but it was easier to deal with them when it was just me.

So you had mentioned about reigning it in a bit, have you had any luck? Is any of this resonating with you?

So I'm an addict, it is what it is, my wife has passed, kids are getting older and are starting to take care of themselves, I need a hobby. Have tried the dating thing a number of times, the last one being right before Christmas, a blind date set up by friends. It's always one or two dates in and the girl always starts asking how much I make and can I help her out with the rent or car payment. This last one did, it never fails but then that's the Fayetteville, NC area, because of Fort Bragg there are 30 guys to every woman, they are 90% gold diggers here. We have a sying,"Fayetteville, where even fat women can be choosy" because of all the guys here. I find it easier to have nasty skanky sex with our street girls than deal with the selfesh, shallow, self centered bitches in this town. I was caught having an affair about 15 years ago, and the wife insisted I / we go to marriage counselors. To this day, I freeking hate people like that. The girls I was screwing was actually blackmailing me for money, and when the money ran out, it all became public. Lost my job because of it.

Well back to the story, the shrink we went to see insisted on seeing each of us seperately several times. It was during one of these private sessions the shrink actually diagnosed me with sex addiction. I laughed, and pretty much denied having any such disease, but instead believed I was simply a typical red-blooded guy. For privacy laws, the shrink was required to keep the diagnosis private, so the wife never heard about it. I was required to go to group counselling sessions and the whole bit.

Today, I realize it was an accurate diagnosis. I am addicted to sex. I monger somewhat and truly enjoy our mutual hobby. Sex with the wife (yeah, we are still together) is actually better now, although still too infrequent. Bottom line is. Yeah I'm addicted to sex, but so what. The alternative is not getting sex from women who are complete strangers who look incredible and do a fantastic job. I choose to simply manage the hobby and do a much better job of being discreet. Extremely discreet.
