Anyone know or hear about this? LEO seems to be keeping their activities quiet since I have not heard of any busts. However, something must be going on if they've established a 1st Offender Program.

Let's be safe out there.
LEO seems to be keeping their activities quiet since I have not heard of any busts. However, something must be going on if they've established a 1st Offender Program.
Check the Henrico arrest records:
http://randolph.co.henrico.va.us/public-data-access/searcharrest.aspx
They only let you search one month back, but there've been bursts of arrests at least twice a month every time I've checked it for well over a year now. I imagine their classes are pretty full.
I have been noticing x being down...any insights?
I have been noticing x being down...any insights?
First, Climax Entertainment disappears in thin air, now the Ave X site is questionable.. Not liking this trend.
Be safe out there.
I have been noticing x being down...any insights?
It's not their provider. Their IP is 208.70.246.216 and it's not responding on port 80 (web), but the adjacent IP's from 208.70.246.212-220 do all answer to web traffic. I don't think it's a case of their domain getting hijacked, because I found on dnshistory. Org that their IP was 208.70.246.247 in 2010, so they've been in that same netblock for a long time.
It could be that they didn't pay their bill and got shut off. Could be that the whole server locked up and no one in a position to reboot it has noticed yet, or that the server had a hardware failure. Could be that someone at their hosting provider messed up and moved the server to a new IP without changing the DNS record for it.
The overly paranoid might suspect it's due to the recent agency bust, but that IP is in Canada and I can't imagine Henrico PD confiscating that server over that. After all, Backpage and Eros haven't been shut down over any of the cases that involved them.
Given their recent history of asking for donations, it seems most likely that they just didn't pay their bill.
The overly paranoid might suspect it's due to the recent agency bust, but that IP is in Canada and I can't imagine Henrico PD confiscating that server over that. However, there is a reason we use aliases and frequent boards such as USASG. As soon as you let your guard down is when you get stung. Just ask those of the Agency to which you referred. And speaking of which, when busts go down, the opportunity to minimize penalties increases with assistance to Uncle LEO. Never underestimate his ability to persuade when someone is looking at a potentially life altering event.
the opportunity to minimize penalties increases with assistance to Uncle LEO. Never underestimate his ability to persuade when someone is looking at a potentially life altering event.
That's very true, but most seem to overestimate the reach of local LEO. E.g. A girl gets busted in Henrico then shows back up on BP in Chesterfield or Richmond and guys are afraid to go see her. Of course no one's ever gotten in trouble by being too paranoid, but sometimes it's outside the realm of common sense.

I hope I'm mistaken in drawing a connection here.

Good ol' Henrico and their "guilty until proven innocent" mantra. That is clearly an assertion of guilt in relation to a charge which has yet to be proven, but who cares about due process, right?.
This doesn't really have any new info, but remember to keep safe. The other side is out there.

Her cell phone broke and had to get new one.
Lost all her contacts and needs some help.
She asked me to post her new number.
804-XXX-6594.
Her old phone would only do text, I assume new one will do both.
Give Amie a call to help.

This is a little more serious than Luna Maya being closed for a day.
The news coverage is very misleading. The images of well dressed women walking the street is just not true. Ask Channel six where those images really came from. I bet not from Gaskins and Broad or around West End. That activity is not going on on the street in that area at anytime of day or night. It has been well reported that streetwalkers are mainly in Richmond on Jefferson Davis Highway and Chamberlyne Ave. Those guys that were arrested were likely just replying to Internet ads. Some of those ads may have been placed by police themselves. No entrapment laws or protection in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Also the one guy was talking about what guys actually may be fueling, that is misleading as well. Some women arguably the majority are independent and do it by choice, many just to survive. Now if there were some regulation and escort licenses required, mandatory testing in order to keep license. Then it would be safer for the workers and those they serve. Then could just focus on the most seedy element and the bad part and let consenting adults do what they want safely. Police and the public are overly interested in what people want to do with their bodies. I would have left this as a comment on the channel 12 site under the video but it does not allow you to comment except through a FB page. Like I'm going to identify my sentiments to HPD so they can harass me?

The footage used by channel 12 was probably stock footage from some nbc file. Kind of like some of the girls use to promote themselves. LOL. In this case they are trying to sell news and a lot of the time it's not very accurate. My point in posting the article was that they are apparently targeting notels as well as SWs trying to "clean things up". I also agree with you about the one guy who is from a "rescue" org. As you said, most of the girls are probably independent, but there is always a small percentage of low-lifes (like in any "business" - or gov't for that matter) that screw it up for the majority of us. I just wanted to make sure everybody had their radar up. Fake ads, street decoys. Be on the lookout.

This was the Feds and their child exploitation task force. I wish we lived in a place where it was all legal and heavily regulated so that legit and legal-aged independent escorts and providers would be left alone and cops and Feds would arrest abusive pimps and stop the exploitation of young women.
Be safe out there, be selective of your provider and make smart decisions.
