I'm still not clear on the advantage
I usually buy the 60 minute refills, because they're cheap (25 bucks) and my LG phone always sends texts with codes to double the minutes. So basically 120 minutes for 25 bucks. You can also buy in 120 minutes and 240 increments for refills, and get the same double minute deal.
120 minutes for $25 (Trac) vs. 1,000 minutes and 1,000 texts for $30 (Virgin).
Yes, the minutes expire every month, but I don't worry about my minutes expiring when it takes 40 texts to set something up and make it happen.
Maybe if you only make a few calls per month, but when I'm shopping around and screening girls, the minutes and especially texts can burn by.

This is the post and this the pics below is who actually shows up; the whole ordeal felt weird; requesting photo I'd, pic of mail with address etc. The bottom line and I should have smelled it out earlier was she just showed up and asked for the money and basically wanted to sit on the couch and talk. Kept talking on the phone to someone-- she did not leave with the 240; that was never going to happen (said she was GFE) but I thought any out there that look for outcalls should be aware. She posted just recently again.
Trewaller, good job in not letting her leave with the $240. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard about these girls pulling this scam. The girls come to your door and once they are inside, they want the money immediately. Once the girls collect the money, they say that paying for sex is illegal. It is their hope that the man gets mad and tells them to leave. Usually the man does not want the trouble with her pimp or the law.
That is not the case with me. When I order outcall I have a few options to use. First, when she comes into the room and demands the money, I show her the money and count it out for her, but I do NOT give her the money. I tell her she receives half the money when her clothes are off and she is naked in the bed. If she is pulling a scam and have no intention of doing anything with you, she will star panicking and start to call someone on her phone. If she does that, then ask her to leave immediately. Rush her out the dor if you have to because she is calling her pimp. If the pimp knocks on the door, call security and say that some crazed man and woman is knocking on your door and you do not know who they are. Most pimps and their girls do not want to be arrested because they usually have warrants. Good luck on your next outcall.
BTW, I have been known to cut the money in half and offering it to her, and then offering the other half of the money with tape when we are finished doing business.

Some additional thoughts about outcall
716XXX6934.
You've gotten some advice from Propilot and Guitarman1 and, since the topic of outcall is one that comes up on a recurring basis, you should do a search of the forum to read what's been posted before.
But just off the top of my head, here are some additional points to consider. Whether the outcall is to your home or to a hotel, you are at a disadvantage because you don't have the option of leaving. That means the provider and her pimp can stand at (or in) your doorway and make a loud scene. If you're at home that will draw unwanted attention from your neighbors. If you're in a hotel, that will draw attention (maybe wanted, maybe unwanted) from hotel security. Propilot gives you some strategies for managing the crisis but IMHO the best strategy is not to get yourself in that situation in the first place. It's important to remember that the scammers do this for a living and it's highly likely they have more experience dealing with these situations than you do. They may also have counter-strategies designed to shift the blame to you (he called me for a massage and then asked for sex) and of even more concern is whether the girl or her pimp have pepper spray, tasers, or something even more serious. I don't know you, and you may be a total bad-ass, but is the possibility of an escalation really something you want to deal with (especially if it's avoidable)?
If you're in a hotel and the girl and her pimp make a scene, it's very possible you may be asked to leave by security because they may view you as being partially responsible. This is their hotel and there's no "guilty" or "not guilty" but just a determination that you're a customer they don't want in their establishment. This can be a little awkward to explain if you're on a business trip. If they don't ask you to leave, the girl and her pimp now know where you're staying and they can watch to see when you leave and what car you're driving.
If you're at home and things go bad then, if you call the police to get rid of them, you'll have to give some kind of an explanation to LE. Even if the girl and her pimp leave before LE arrives, you'll still be asked about the situation. You can certainly make up a story about how you have no idea why these people showed up at your door but if you have nosy neighbors they may talk to LE on their own. Another note about neighbors is that they're often contacted if you have any kind of job that requires a security clearance. If one of them talks about the time a girl stood at your door yelling about wanting her money, that might be difficult to explain to your background investigator. And if it's a bad thing for the pimp and his girl to know where your hotel room is, how much worse is it for them to know where you live?
The bottom line is that outcall is not a great idea unless it's with a well-reviewed provider with whom (preferably) you've had enough incall sessions to have developed a level of comfort and trust.
Of course this is an adult hobby and everyone is entitled take the level of risk with which they're comfortable but to schedule an outcall visit with an unknown provider is at the high level of the risk-spectrum, IMHO. And, as much as you may come up with strategies and contingency plans, there are a lot of variables involved and that means there will always be the possibility for the situation to develop in a way you didn't expect. So my advice is that it's better not to go down that road if you have better alternatives.
Another place to report this

Add a comment "100% SCAM".
This chick did a dash with my money once I gave it to her.
Looked nothing like the pics and then texted that she had to leave because her sister was in the hospital.
Only out $80 but let's try to put her out of business!

Is this a scam of some kind
So I answered an add on backpage for a massage. Had one of the wixsite webpages with all the details and donations for a massage.
Ginger4 uu. wixsite.com/ pure-relaxation.
Set up an appointment and was directed to a shopping center in Fairfax and told to text when I arrive. So far so good. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Then when I text that I arrived I'm told "first time client must buy a Visa Vanilla gift debit card with the hour fee on it. " No cash accepted. After the first visit then you can pay however you want.
I refused. I said you should have told me this BEFORE I drove down here. They responded and said it's all on their website and I should have known. I went home and read every page on the website TWICE. Nothing about Visa gift cards.
Is this some kind of scam? I just moved here from LA and I have never seen anything like this. My gut said no way so I bailed out. I texted back and said your website says nothing about gift cards. They responded back and said I missed out on a surprise free 4 hand session. Yeah. Right.
Does anyone have any ideas on if this is a scam?

Just in case the link goes bad.
Posting a pic of the ad doesn't prove it's a scam

Just in case the link goes bad.
For this to be a true scam someone needs to demonstrate how the provider (or scammer) gets money from the client without actually meeting him in person.
The point I made earlier is still valid. As long as the client doesn't give the provider any numbers or codes from the back of the Vanilla card, then having the card in his hand when he shows up for the appt is the equivalent of having cash in hand. The only way this turns into a scam is if we get some report that she calls a client and asks him for the numbers on the card itself.
Otherwise, it's still my theory that this could be the (excessive) defense mechanism of a provider who has been ripped off. I'm not saying I couldn't be wrong about this, just that it hasn't yet been proved.
