A picture's worth a 1000 (dollars?, regrets?, in alimony?)
I'm going to post this here and on the Harrisburg site, which I hope is acceptable. How to people react when the escort requires a photo before making an appointment? I have sent a selfie a couple of times, but I have to say that I don't feel comfortable sending an identifiable photo to someone I hope is an escort and not a set-up. Certainly I would NOT send a photo of my Drivers License. What are other mongers opinions on this?
If any pic of you is accessible to the masses online, you may wish to consider the possibility of one using an app such as Tin Eye to do a reverse image search and the likelihood of a unhappy ending in such a case. I've not sent a pic yet and have been turned down twice. In retrospect, a good decision for one of them, though it definitely didn't feel like it at the time. I've skydived, been way below test depth on a sub, jay walked in the inner-city and also burped babies without a towel over my shoulder. Risk is another of those 4-letter words.
Never Send Money Up Front
Here is another one posting here and southern West Virginia wanting up front just giving you guys a heads up be safe out there.
I'm sure there are some exceptions, but for the most part, DO NOT send a deposit to "guarantee" your appointment. Most of these are scams and STG even warns users not to send upfront money.
I did this once about 5 years ago, and it was a $25 lesson that I learned and haven't forgotten.
