Updates: V St is currently blocked at Brundage, so the rectangle is a little bit smaller. I would say 90% of the action was on V-street or a little bit up the side streets towards Union.

I did see Uncle LEO drive through once, which pushed some SWs over to Union for a bit, but for the most part it was V-street.

I would say 6-8 total, mostly BSWs with a few LSWs. Some were indeed looking good.

The Brundage to 1st street work is done, but you should drive only to 2nd street heading south (little to no action near 1st usually). Also, head north on V street to 8th street, turn right and at the Union /8th corner there should be a few posted up on the corner there as well as some working out of that Plaza Motel. Circle the Plaza parking lot-particularly after dark. The girls are in and out of the rooms and its easy pickins. As you head south on Union there will be a couple out in front of those other notels / apts. You will spot an occasional SW south of Brundage on Union but going more than a half mile down is a waste of gas. Best times right now are daytime-midnight near 3rd street and after dark over by the Notels. Of course, a lot of vagrancy mixed in here.

What's the going rate these days down in Bakersfield? Good to know the area is getting back to life.

This track doesn't become really active until after 11 pm. I was staying at an AirBNB about 5 minutes away so I was out there just about every hour or so from 3 pm as I was going about my day. Pretty much the same out there between 6 pm and 9 pm. I left, came back after 11 and it was totally different. Had a problem because there were 4 strong choices. I think I picked the best one, not only because the service was good but she lives in my city! As I was leaving town about 6 am the next morning, passed through again and 2 of the 4 I was interested in the night before were still out! Really tempted but I had to get on the road. I'll be in town tomorrow, hope things go well!

Union was due for a make-over about 40 years ago so its game on.

After dark, they start to post up on 3rd and V down to 1st, making a loop up to Union.

Recently switched jobs and my job always has me driving on union passing brundage all the way and making a right on California. Been seeing some of the girls working at night and I'd be lying if I said I haven't felt tempted to spend some time with one of them. Any tips on how to approach them, to know if any of them are involved with L. E, or might be scammer / rob, what are the rates for these woman and are they usually car dates or they have a room? Drove down Union this evening, it's been awhile since I checked out the area. At 8th and Union, there must have been 20 working girls standing around on the corner. Most appeared to be white. Never seen that many working girls in one spot.

I am (happily) surprised to read that there are a lot of ladies out only because there are very few posts here, and so I would think not a lot of mongers active in Bakersfield, and so therefore not a lot of ladies, only because ladies will follow mongers (paychecks). Yes, of course vice versa as well, chicken and egg etc, but nonetheless.

Can anyone who has been actively driving the area chime in to say if this has also been their recent experience, or maybe this was a one-off unusually good night in terms of activity and selection?

Went out last night at around 1 am, the stroll was popping. All together must've saw about 20 different girls out on the street. A large gaggle of them were posted up off V. Mostly black with maybe 1-2 white girls thrown in. Didn't pick up because it's not my thing anymore but love to window shop.

The second half of the month always seems to be the busiest.
